Islamic legal tradition holds that dogs are “unclean” animals, and some say the call to ban them in Holland and elsewhere represents an attempted encroachment of Islamic Sharia law in Europe.

There are no surprises in Release International’s list of predicted hotspots for persecution in 2012. If anything, the organisation fears the plight of Christians around the world may get worse.

The organisation has received reports from partners that Christians are coming under increasing suspicion in North Korea. Practising Christianity is banned in the closed-off communist country and anyone caught with a Bible faces torture, imprisonment and possibly death.

It is monitoring events closely following the death of dictator Kim Jong-il but there is little optimism that the change of leadership to Kim Jong-un will ease their plight.

In China, authorities are considering legalising the detention of people considered a threat to national security, a move that would put lawyers and Christian human rights campaigners at risk.

There are additional concerns that the change in leadership later in 2012 may prompt authorities to tighten their grip on Christians and potential dissidents.

Bob Fu, of partner organisation China Aid, said: “Religious freedom conditions are at their lowest point since 1982.”In countries with large Muslim and Hindu populations, the prevalence of apostasy charges against believers is a “worrying trend”, the charity said.

In addition to Hindu and Muslim converts, accusations are being levelled against evangelists and other existing believers who speak about their faith.

Political rhetoric has turned increasingly against Christians in Iran, where the Christian faith is regarded as a threat to the Islamic revolution.

Christians have been arrested, beaten, imprisoned and killed for their faith there. Other forms of harassment include expelling Christians from jobs and universities, phone tapping and using relatives to spy on them.

Release’s partners warn that the persecution of Christians in Pakistan is “increasing day by day” as radical Islam continues to spread.

Two senior government ministers, Salman Taseer and Shahbaz Bhatti, were murdered by extremists after calling for reform of the notorious blasphemy laws.

Other areas of concern for the coming year include Nigeria, where dozens have been killed in Christmas Day church attacks. Boko Haram, the Islamist militant group claiming responsibility, wants to impose strict Sharia law on the country.

While India may be the world’s largest democracy and one of the fastest growing economies, there are signs of a “growing hostility” towards Christians and Christian witness, Release said.

Christians have been particularly alarmed by a recent call from the Hindu militant group Vishva Hindu Parishad to change the constitution to allow “anyone who converts Hindus to be beheaded”.

Anti-conversion laws are being interpreted to mean a ban on evangelism and some pastors have been accused of converting Hindus by force, Release said.

Others of concern include central Asian countries and Sri Lanka, where churches are being forced to register with the authorities.

Andy Dipper, chief executive of Release International, said: “Across the world, the number of Christians imprisoned for their faith looks set to increase in 2012.

“In the new year please make it a priority to pray for members of our Christian family who face persecution and offer your practical support. The economic climate may be getting harder in the UK, but we still have our freedom.

“And that includes freedom to pray, support and speak out for our brothers and sisters who are suffering for their faith.”

It’s a story of transformation that has surprised thousands and shocked all who have heard: a brutal African warlord with a violent past finds Christ and dramatically turns his life around.

Selected for The Economist Film Project, an initiative by The Economist in partnership with PBS NewsHour, “The Redemption of General Butt Naked” is a chilling documentary about the changed life of Joshua Milton Blahyi, once dubbed to be one of Liberia’s most feared warlords.

Now renouncing his violent past – which includes confessing to killing nearly 20,000 people during Liberia’s 14-year civil war – after converting to Christianity, Blahyi seeks to reinvent himself as an evangelist, traveling the nation as a preacher and asking for forgiveness from those whom he had hurt in the past.

Filmmakers Eric Strauss and Daniele Anastasion spent five years with Blahyi, closely following his troubled life as he sought forgiveness from his former soldiers and his numerous victims.

Strauss had become interested in Blahyi after he read about him in a book called The World’s Most Dangerous Places.

“It was just a tiny blurb about a notorious warlord who had killed thousands and was now walking the streets preaching truth and reconciliation,” Strauss told The Los Angeles Times. “I wondered, ‘Could someone like this really exist?’”

“Was transformation this extreme even possible?” Anastasion added. “And how would that play out in the real world?”

Offering a glimpse into their questions through their documentary, the filmmakers created “The Redemption of General Butt Naked,” highlighting faith and forgiveness.

“The film forces [viewers] to question the very nature of what true, meaningful reconciliation looks like in a country where justice has not been available,” the film’s website noted.

“It’s only Christianity that can help this nation, because Christianity, it is the only belief, the only faith that tell you to love your enemies, that tell you to accept and forgive the one who hurts you,” Blahyi stated in an excerpt from the movie, according to PBS.

“All of us you see sitting here were notorious rebels. The only thing that is able to disarm them is love, the love that disarmed me. Only God is able to turn lives around.”

Prior to his conversion, Blahyi, a member of the Sarpo tribe in Liberia, was a spiritual consultant to the late Liberian president, Master Sergeant Samuel K. Doe.

At age 11, he was initiated as a tribal priest and participated in his first human sacrifice, which he practiced monthly until he was 25. Later appointed as high priest to the Krahn people and then spiritual adviser to Doe, Blahyi previously told the South African Star that he “met Satan regularly and talked to him.”

He was dubbed “General Butt Naked” for entering battle with nothing but shoes and a gun, believing that his nakedness made him invincible to bullets. The previous general also claimed that he killed children, offering their blood to his god, and sometimes even plucking out their hearts and eating it before battle as well.

It is no wonder that all throughout the country, people still fear him, despite his conversion.

In 1996, Blahyi had a dramatic encounter with Christ during one of the most brutal fights in the history of the Liberian war, an encounter many deemed similar to Apostle Paul’s conversion on the road to Damascus.

Jesus appeared to him as a blinding light and told him that he would die unless he repented of his sins, the Daily Mail reported.

Accepting Christ and asking forgiveness for his sins, Blahyi promptly laid down his weapons, left behind his soldiers, and went to a refugee camp in Ghana where he began his conversion process.

Now preaching where he once murdered, Blahyi hopes to rebuild the people whom he once hurt, advocating peace and not violence.

“It’s the toughest moment in my life to see somebody who I hurt in the past,” Blahyi reflected in the film. “There are thousands of people that can stand up here and say, this is what he did to me, this is what he did to my brother. I’m guilty. I’m 100 percent guilty for all the things I did in the past.”

“I’m sorry. I’m sorry,” he repeated. Though many believed in Blahyi’s repentance and transformation, a few believe he is lying.

Despite their doubts, however, the former warlord continues to prove his turnaround through his actions, tirelessly preaching the Gospel to everyone he comes across.

He is currently the president and founder of the End Time Train Evangelistic Ministries in Ghana, which he founded in 1999, existing to shine the light of Christ in remote parts of Africa, including Togo, Benin Republic, Nigeria, Chile Republic, Guinea, and Liberia, his home land.

He returned to Liberia after six years of living in exile in 2004 and assisted in the disarmament process for one year, according to his ministry’s website, before returning back to the refugee camp in Ghana.

Three years later, he traveled back to his home country with a desire to return to Liberia with his family, which consisted of his wife, Josie, and their four children.

During that period, Blahyi agreed to admit his crimes before Liberia’s Truth and Reconciliation Commission, an act very few warlords agreed to do, though he did not know what the consequences of his confession would be.

“I went to the TRC because I wanted to reconcile with my country and be free of my conscience,” he shared in an excerpt. “And the fate turned out that they recommended amnesty for me.”

After he was recommended amnesty, however, Blahyi received several death threats from other warlords and fled to Ghana as a result. He has now returned to Liberia, preaching the truth of Jesus Christ to his people and teaching the broken about God’s infinite mercy and hope for mankind for sinners like himself.

The film will air on the Documentary Channel on Jan. 22.

PBS NewsHour ended their yearlong collaboration with The Economist magazine this week, highlighting the work of independent documentary filmmakers through The Economist Film Project.

Though they received more than a thousand documentary submissions, they chose only 19 films to showcase, ranging from skateboarding in Afghanistan to art made in the world’s largest landfill in Brazil.

Hi Danny,

Thanks for allowing me the honour of participating in the Australia Day Service at Scots Church.

During the worship before we sang the national anthem I saw in the Spirit the floor of heaven being cracked open in thin parallel slots that allowed the shekinah glory of God to start to be released downward like thin billowing clouds emerging through the roof of the meeting as an expression of God’s pleasure, and for the purpose of extending His blessing on Australia. (I could see this in the Spirit but not in the physical).

It was not a pouring down but a beginning. It was an outcome of human penetration of the floor of heaven that released the “early rains” of the magnitude and power of heaven that can accomplish anything God wants.

I understood that the power of heaven is constrained from the natural because the difference between heaven and the world is so vast that God does not give his shekinah glory lightly or easily. It is withheld from man’s grasp due to our rebellion and hardness of heart, as with Cain, Esau, Dan, Ephraim and Judas.

But at the Scots service heaven was taken by force (Matt 11:12).

And what was that force? ….

It was the force of your and those present persistence in unity for righteousness. It was penetration of heaven by praise. It was determination in purpose for revival. It was refusal to settle for the devil’s alternatives. It was acts of repentance and the refusal of unforgiveness. It was integrity in truth that resists the compromised culture of the land. It was unity across cultural and denominational differences. It was insistence that Australia be all that God wants it to be. It was courage in adversity and standing in the victory of the Cross.

These were the forces that were released in the service that cracked open the floor of heaven so that the eternal covenants of God may emerge progressively into the revival of Australia.

Somehow the mutual care between Julia Gillard and Tony Abbott on Australia Day in the face of evil intent was symbolic of the love of God entering the landscape of the nation. A new start is on the way for Australia.

 Dear Danny,

I just wanted to let you know that you were a servant of the Lord to me on Sunday evening.  For years I  have been arguing with myself (or with God) on and off, over the issue of drinking wine.

Only about 2 weeks ago my prayer partner in inner healing ministry and I were both convicted separately that, if we wanted to move higher in the Lord in setting captives free, then we needed to put aside wine, which we both enjoyed along with our husbands on a weekly basis.  We prayed and it see med settled.  However, it was not long before I convinced myself that it was OK in moderation and God did not really mind.

On Sunday evening I turned on my laptop and decided to see if I could tune into the live webcast for the first time. It happened to be 7:30.  It worked – and when I heard the subject of the message, I immediately thought, ‘OK Lord, this time I cannot deny that it is you who is speaking to me.  Stop trying to fool yourself that it does not matter.’   I expected two phone calls that evening which did not come so I watched it all the way through and responded to the ‘altar call’ and prayed the prayer with you.  (Now I’ve done it!!)

I really ‘got’ the link with barrenness, which has been a subject that has interested me and I have wanted to dig into.  I also now understand the subtle deceptiveness of Delilah as it applies to this and why I kept giving in to ‘her’. The Lord had shown me that beforehand.  Oh the journey is long …  but my deep desire is to walk in the fullness of all the Lord has placed in me as we move into these crucial times ahead.  May I  now have freedom to walk with the ‘John anointing’ (Is that the term you used?) and be part of a victorious church and glorious Bride.  

Thank you and I pray I will now walk in victory in this issue for the Glory of His Name

The Australia Day National Prayer Gathering at the Scots Church in Melbourne, organised by Catch The Fire Ministries and supported by many churches, and ministries, was a great success for the unity of the Body of Christ and the advancement of the Kingdom of God.

 Around 700 Aussie Christians, along with 35 pastors and many other Christian ministers, filled the church in the city of Melbourne. Many carrying their Australian flags were so excited to see so many people of God lift up their hands to worship Jesus as King of kings and LORD of lords! There were people from every single state from across Australia present at the united prayer meeting for our nation’s transformation.

The interdenominational multi-ethnic prayer service started with the the minister from the Scots Church welcoming the people, and a great time of worship led by the CTFM worship team. Then the Uniting Church Minister prayed for Government & Leaders, followed by the AOG Pastor who prayed for protection from bush fires and thanked God for the rain.

As passionate Aussie Christians kept pouring into the auditorium, the place was full of excitement and the mighty presence of God filled the house. More worship was lifted up to heaven as people started interceding and praying for Australia’s revival, awakening, reformation and transformation.

Then the Baptist Minister led prayer for the nation and for revival in Australia. We also had prayer for the business and marketplace led by Brother Peter. Then Pas Daniel spoke on forgiveness and read a message from Pas Mark Conner of City Life Church.  At this point people gathered together and spent time searching their hearts and repented before the Lord from any anger, bitterness, unforgiveness, offence, etc.

Then the Indigenous elder Aunty Margorie from Darwin led in prayer and a song of worship about welcoming the Holy Spirit from the highest mountains to the lowest valleys throughout our nation and hearts. Following this the Catholic priest led the congregation in the Lord’s prayer.

The crowd continued to worship the Lord as the CTFM worship team continued to lift up high praise and worship as they led everyone in the beautiful song ‘Great South Land of the Holy Spirit’! There were shouts of joy as people lifted the Australian flags and continued praising God for our nation!

Then Evangelist Jason from CTFM prayed for a Holy Spirit revolution of salvation, deliverance, healing, restoration and radical transformation amongst the youth, young adults and children of our nation.

Also at the meeting was a beautiful team of prophetic dancers from an Indonesian church in Sydney. They all came all the way from Sydney to minister in dance with banners, tambourines etc. They were just so amazing.

Then the guest speaker Rev Dr Robert Carner, the Moderator General of the Presbyterian Church, challenged the people with the Word of God as many were greatly impacted to Rise Up Australia for Jesus!

Then Pr Daniel called out for all Pastors present and their spouses to come to the front of the auditorium. Everyone in the congregation started clapping and rejoicing as 35 Pastors and many of their spouses came forward.

Then Pr Daniel and his wife Maryse prayed for all the Pastors and their families at the meeting and all throughout Australia.

Following this a Pastor from the CRC churches closed the service in prayer and then the congregation were up on their feet with their Australian flags flying high and singing ‘Advance Australia Fair’ our national anthem.

Pr Daniel stated, “What an amazing morning it was. I was so thrilled to see the body of Christ unite as one to worship and pray for our nation. We desperately need to unite as one body and cry out to God for a revolution of God’s love for a national reformation in Jesus name. I want to thank everyone who took the time to come on this wonderful Australia Day to pray for our nation.”

On Friday 20^th Jan Pr Daniel ministered at Bunbury, where around 70-80 people gathered to hear the Word of God and his personal testimony. He also shared the vision and mission God placed in his heart to take Australia for Jesus by 2020. The people were absolutely challenged and many stated, “Thank God we have now once again received hope to see revival in Australia!” At the end of the meeting there was great excitement and many signed up for membership with Rise Up Australia Party.

On Sat 21^st Jan at 11am Pr Daniel met with a group of very excited committed Christians in Perth for 3 hours. Some drove 5 hours to be at this meeting. Here we saw the birth of the State Executive for Rise Up Australia Party to Keep Australia Australian in WA. This 12 member team comprises of Doctors, Teachers, a Businessman, some who have been in Politics for many years, a Journalist, Housewives and a couple of Pastors.  Some others were so happy that they wanted to know more about RUA Party that they all met with Pr Daniel for coffee after the meeting, and finished up around midnight.

Pr Daniel stated, “I thank God for a very good state executive team that He has now given us for WA. They are all full of excitement and passion to keep Australia  Australian and see her come back to Jesus. I am very confident that they are going to do an amazing job at the next federal election. With God’s grace we will run candidates in all lower and upper house seats in WA.”

Sat night and Sun morning He ministered at Dream Life Church in Wangara where the Lord moved most powerfully at both meetings with many mightily touched by the power of God. Many responded to the altar call, including many youth. So many were just sobbing and crying at the altar as they were being prayed for. Many others just could not stand in the presence of God. Some received healing and some others were set free from bondages.

Here to many signed up to take membership with RUA Party. At the end of the meetings people were just buzzing with great excitement and joy.On Sun night Pr Daniel ministered at a Lutheran Church where people from so many different churches gathered at the meeting. The Lutheran Pastor greeted Pr Daniel at the door by saying,  “Ever since your court case started we have been praying for you because you have represented all of us in fighting this case. Your victory in this court case has given us freedom of speech and the ability to continue to share Jesus with people. Thank you so very much.”

Pr Daniel stated, “I was absolutely shocked to hear him say that. I did not know that even the Lutheran church members were praying for us. I thank God for the Muslims who took me to court. They have done a great favour for the Kingdom of God and Australia for the future.”

One court in Delhi issued summons to the tech companies to stand trial for offences relating to distributing obscene material to minors, after it was shown images deemed offensive to Hindus, Muslims and Christians, reported Reuters. Another Delhi court earlier reportedly ordered the companies to remove photographs, videos or text which might hurt people’s religious sentiments.

The websites were given until Feb. 6 to remove the “anti-religious” content, according to other sources.

“The accused in connivance with each other and other unknown persons are selling, publicly exhibiting and have put into circulation obscene, lascivious content,” government representative said in court, as quoted by Reuters.

In response, a Google spokesman reportedly told the agency: “We believe that access to information is the foundation of a free society.”

“Where content is illegal or breaks our terms of service we will continue to remove it,” he added.

The legal battle comes in the context of what some critics see as increasing government attempts to censor the Web. The order will raise serious questions about how users’ posts and opinions will be edited, sources say.

In early December, India’s telecoms minister Kapil Sibal reportedly urged Facebook, Twitter, Google and other online giants to remove offensive material from their publicly accessible websites, unleashing a storm of criticism. Chrislam is an attempt to synchronize Christianity with Islam. While it began in Nigeria, Chrislamic ideas have spread throughout much of the world. For Christians, the deity of Christ is a NON-NEGOTIABLE, for without His deity, Jesus’ death on the cross would not have been sufficient to be the atoning sacrifice for the sins of the entire world (1 John 2:2).

Islam adamantly rejects the deity of Christ. The Qur’an declares the idea that Jesus is God to be blasphemy (5:17). Belief in the deity of Christ is considered shirk “filth” to Muslims. According to Islam, Jesus was a prophet, paving the way for Mohammed. Further, Islam denies the death of Christ on the cross. The most crucial doctrine of the Christian faith is rejected in Islam. As a result, the two religions are absolutely NOT compatible, making Chrislam a concept both Christians and Muslims should reject.

Many Protestant churches, are promoting this merging together of Islam and Christianity. They’re even placing the Qur’an next to Bibles in the pews. I’ve heard of countless missionaries removing over 90 scriptures that declare Jesus as the Son of God, replacing them with the words, “son of Mary” in an attempt to win over Muslims.

This weekend, the Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church in Houston along with Christian communities in Atlanta, Seattle, and Detroit will initiate a series of sermons that have been designed to produce an ecumenical reconciliation between Christianity and Islam.

In addition to the sermons, the Sunday school lessons will center on the inspired teachings of the Prophet Mohammad. Qurans will be placed in the pews next to the Bibles.

Emerging Church & Presbyterians Align with CHRISLAM Religion

The off-base Emerging Church is encouraging pastors to embrace an ecumenical concept of combining Christianity and Islam, actually partnering with Islam, to launch a new religion called…Chrislam – which would combine the two. So far, they have managed to gather 130 Christian leaders who collectively state that Muslims and Christians worship the same God.

No they do not! Allah was the Arabic name for a higher power, or a god. Mohammed ‘s god was Allilah, the moon god which conveniently became the generic name for a god, Allah. This is why a crescent moon and star is on the flag of Islam and mosques. Let this be clear.

In a disturbing account of this new movement, Debra Rae in her column released today (1/22/11) on News With Views, titled “The Lost Art Of Critical Thinking,” writes; “Recently, the

As we all know, with any issue some reports are not quite accurate.

1) One media outlet referred to us as “Gateway church” and not Catch the Fire Ministries.

2) Mandy and Nathan did not worship at Catch The Fire. They worshiped at Citylife Church. They have visited us on several occasions. Ps Daniel is not their Pastor, but a good friend.

3) Ps Daniel did not say that Muslims abducted Mandy.  Nathan the husband did say that he believed that Muslim extremists might have abducted her, because they converted from Islam.

4) Always note, unless you hear the person concerned speak on TV, don’t necessarily believe what the Journalist says about the person as it or may or may not be exactly what he or she said.

5) When it is a newspaper reporting, and if is quoted in inverted commas (“…”), it often will be a direct statement from the person, but if not, do not always believe what the journalist writes of the person,  of what they say he or she possibly said.

6) We believe that Citylife church will have a proper burial for Mandy, as that is where she worshipped. We will help and assist in any way possible.

Once again we thank the Media as overall they did a great job. Please continue to pray for the rest of the Ahmadi family. Also for the many Muslim asylum seekers they were helping, as I cannot think of anyone who can do quite as good a job as Nathan and Mandy. Girl sacrificed in India, liver offered to Gods

Indian girl got sacrificed, her liver was offered to gods as the 7 years old girl was murdered in a jungle district of Chhattisgarh, India.

Raipur / NationalTurk – A seven-year-old Indian girl is the latest victim in India child sacrifice. She was murdered in a tribal sacrifice by two men and her liver offered to the gods for better crop growth, after Indian police in the central state of Chhattisgarh found the decomposed body of Lalita Tati.

“A seven-year-old girl was sacrificed by two persons superstitiously believing that the act would give a better harvest,” Narayan Das, the police chief of Bijapur district said.

The two men was arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of murdering the poor girl and offering her liver to the gods in a grisly tribal ritual. Police said the men had confessed to the child sacrifice crime. The area is a stronghold of rebel Maoists, who become increasingly disliked by local tribal groups.

In deeply religious and superstitious India Human sacrifices occasionally happen and the grim rituals usually occur in poor areas where some people revere practitioners of black magic.

Two suspected child sacrifices were reported in Chhattisgarh in 2010, while in the same year the decapitated body of a factory worker was found in a temple in the eastern state of West Bengal.

The human and child sacrifice victims are often killed by witch doctors in ceremonial fashion to appease gods, spirits or deities.

Yesterday Sunday 8^th Jan was testimony time at our morning service at CTFM as many people shared their amazing testimonies in giving God all the glory for the great things He has done!  People listening to these testimonies were mighty blessed. Sunday night was another glorious service with many who were gathered responding to the altar call ‘To go all the way for Jesus’! This service was also webcast live as many watched all across Australia and overseas.

1) One young woman boldly got up and shared her testimony of how she was raped 3 times and that the 3^rd time she was almost strangled to death. That it is only by the grace of God that she is still alive. There was pin drop silence in the congregation. Then she said how God had used her to save two young girls aged 13 & 18 who were raped and had attempted suicide several times.  Through her testimony and love the 2 young girls are doing well. Glory to God. Everyone was mightily impacted by her testimony.

 2) Testimony of Barry Willis    29-12-2011

 In September 2011 I was admitted to hospital with severe pain on my left side, and on examination they discovered a  LUMP pressing on the Urethar tube (which joins the kidney to the bladder), it was stopping the flow. They then inserted a STENT to widen the tube releasing the flow once again and relieving the pain, but the stent was only a temporary measure,  which meant that the stent would need to be replaced after 3 months whilst they tried to discover what the lump was.

During this time, I had more tests, including 2 biopsy’s,(they were trying to find something nasty, like cancer or something), but each time, they came up with a negative. Now the whole team of Catch the fire were praying for me, and we were asking the Lord to cause the lump to wither-up + dry up in Jesus name. Well, I recently went to see the Oncologist again, for the 3^rd. or 4^th. time, around the middle of December, and I was told, “ You won’t need to see me anymore, because that lump has disappeared, it has dried-up.”PRAISE OUR WONDERFUL LORD JESUS. So it’s very important what we believe AND what we speak. AMEN!!

3) Dear Pastor Daniel and the Catch the Fire team, it is with great pleasure that I share this answer to prayer with you. My husband and I have been separated for almost 8 months, and I have had prayer about this many times over this period of time (and before we separated), I have been able to return home and we are reconciled. I praise God that He doesn’t just fix things, but when He fixes them, He actually makes them better. My husband has not publically declared Jesus as his Lord, but sometimes I wonder, I think he does believe in Him. Anyway, praising God for His mercy and His many blessings, He is mighty! 4) Hi Danny. Merry Christmas again. It’s really great the way that you and your family come share Christmas lunch with  those of us that don’t have family to share Christmas day with. I know everyone that was there was blessed greatly. May God continue to bless you and your family.  I had the misfortune of suffering from insomnia for 14 years. As you can imagine insomnia’s a pretty difficult  condition to live with, it really plays havoc with your ability to function in a normal way. But I attended the Wednesday prayer meeting at ctfm on the 14th of this month, and afterwards I was talking with a couple of the intercessors. I happened to mention that I hadn’t had any sleep the previous night and  that I suffered from insomnia and one of them suggested that they pray for me. I said sure why not, but to be honest although I knew God would heal me of this one day I wasn’t expecting anything to happen at the time. But The Lord in His infinite Love and mercy didn’t hold my lack of faith against me and I’m pleased to tell you that I’ve been completely set free and now sleep like a baby every night. Praise The Lord.  Also, even though I’ve been saved for 15 months now, that was the first time any one had ever prayed for me to be healed of insomnia. I’ve suffered considerable memory loss and have been more worried about being healed of that than the insomnia.

Thank You Jesus it’s so good to now be free from that awful condition.

A Christian convert whose body was found dumped in a canal on Christmas morning was the mother of a month-old baby boy, it has emerged.

Ruby Love, 23, from Harrow, North London was found by a dog walker in the Grand Union Canal in Southall, West London, by a dog walker shortly before midday on Sunday.

Manzar Juma, 27, the father of two of her children, was charged by police with her murder. He is understood to be Muslim and unemployed. He is due to appear in court on Friday.

Miss Love was born Rabina Malik into a Sikh family but her mother changed the family’s names by deed poll in 2003. They attend a nearby Catholic church, she said.
