Dear Family and Friends in Christ,
It is with great excitement and resounding joy I bring to your attention the following news!
Based on the outcome of a season of fervent and lengthy prayer, The Board of Catch The Fire Ministries has decided the time is right to purchase a building to establish a base for CTFM which would incorporate our offices with an auditorium. This will be a place for the body of Christ to meet from all denominations.
It has been my desire to see this come to pass for a number of years. Some members of our CTFM team have sought the Lord for our home base, from our commencement 12 years ago. We have hired/used venues across Melbourne (over the years) to host the Rise Up Australia prayer meetings, seminars & conferences we have held during this time.
I give all glory to God for making it possible to have our own building from 2011/13!
We desire to see the CTFM Centre serve the body of Christ and the community. The following is our short term and long term goals to achieve at the Centre:
1) 24 x 7 Prayer An international house of prayer with praise/worship ‚owing continuously.
2)Continue our Rise Up Australia 1st Friday monthly prayer meetings for the Nation of Australia.
3)Healing/Revival/In His Presence meetings; to facilitate healings, deliverance, miracles & salvations and see lives changed.
4)To continue to facilitate our feeding projects in Sri Lanka for 150 children, plus care for the needs of 100 children in 3 orphanages.
5) Catch The Fire Ministries supports Options Plus Care – the Pregnancy Counselling Centre
6) To efficiently operate the CTFM offices; also coordinate the Rise Up Australia prayer bases operating in 45 cities across Australia.
7) To facilitate Kingdom gatherings focused on intercession, the prophetic & apostolic. We perceive a desperate need for the prophetic and apostolic gifting/teaching to be released further in Australia.
8) Equipping the Body of Christ for the work of prison, hospital & street ministry (Long term)
9) Possibility of implementing a prophetic and apostolic teaching and training school (Long term)
10) Producing programs for Television/Mulmedia, with the possibility of commencing a Chrisan television station (Long term)
The Lord is so good. In late 2011 we were able to completely pay off the land! Hallelujah!
Thank you so much to all who have given financially and so generously to allow this to happen.
We are now trusting the Lord to begin the construction of the building which will cost about 1.4 million dollars.
We would greatly appreciate you prayerfully considering contributing financially towards the building project and standing with us to see construction finished by Jan/Feb 2013. We pray that you would make a sacrifice and help make this vision become a reality.
