Dear Jason

Peace of Jesus in you through the Holy Spirit, on my side God guides me through his blood, love truth and mercy. I am an undenominational Christian, I thank because God used me to preach the gospel pray me with my family and my fellow Christians to deal with Jesus because He is the Savior and life. Pray for me because it is difficult for me to travel from house to house, and moving far to go and access this computer and internet services. No bibles for my fellow Christians and all other things that help us do God's work.

Recently I wrote to you and I quoted about love and you were telling me about those people who have had problems for example israel. still I am saying jesus is the answer. If all facing some problem, we can know that love is the answer. No matter how big or small is that problem, or how they have been dealing with it, there healing iam amazing power of love will show us the way to meet it.

Love is the bridge that willnarrow the gap and bring new peaceful understanding to the situation. then we need to remember our divine heritage as children of God, the love of God which created also provides for our health, our work, our human relationship, love blesss, mind body and soul. Jesus said say the truth and it will set you free through the Holy Spirit.

I dont have much just pray for me .

GOd bless you

Yours in Christ

Dear Jason, Thanks for this. It certainly makes sense, especially when you think of a Muslims background. God bless. Audrey & Maurice.

Dear Jason and Pastor Danny,

Thank you for forwarding Rev Durie's article. It has been mentioned here but I have not seen it published. I am living in the United States where it seems that much of the country, including the White House and Congress, is in denial about Islamic terrorism. I watch a couple of US current affairs websites and since this event I feel as if I have been chained to my computer defending Christianity against allegations of specious equivalence with Islam. Its attackers say that Christianity promotes violence in the same way as Islamic Fundamentalism. They either do not know, or will never admit, that Christianity does not convert by violence or condone violence or murder in its teaching and has not done so for hundreds of years.

For the first time that I can recall, an Islamic organisation, the Council of American Islamic Relations (CAIR) disowned Major Hasan's act. The spokesman said that such violence has no place in their religion, which would seem to be at odds with Hasan's understanding.

These are worrying times. It seems that all western governments, including the Victorian government, have their heads in the sand about the threat posed to our civilization by militant Islam, whether described as fundamentalist or Fascist. The news from Europe and Scandinavia is also quite depressing. We are not allowed these days to call our civilization "Christian" but the reality is that it was established by Christians, on Christian principles, which allowed diverse people to live in harmony for thousands of years.

Thank you for keeping me informed of local events and of the views of Christians in Australia.

Sincerely,

Dorothy
