Last figure I read is that 90,000 abortions takes place every year. This would not have happened if people in churches really believed what our LORD has said. Dear Pastor Danny, I offer a thought that we could perhaps bear in mind in opposing Brumnby's proposed abortion legislation next year. He has also promised legislation to make child murder an offence of its own. Does this not give us an opportunity to question what is the essential difference between a child about to be born, and one just born? If there is public outrage at the murder of a child after birth, we could home in on the unreasonableness of permitting the murder of, say, the same child, just in a different physical location.
