RUAP WA State Exec Team with Dr Daniel Nalliah / Pastor Daniel Ministered in Perth, WA at Hillcity Church and LFCC2 Comments Published by Office 2 February 28th, 2017 in Uncategorized
Dear Family and Friends,
Here is a write up from a WA representative of RUAP, regarding Pastor Daniel’s recent trip to Perth WA.
1) “RUAP Western Australia was privileged to be able to host a whirlwind weekend visit to Perth by the President of RUAP Dr Daniel Nalliah ahead of the West Australian State elections on 11th March 2017.
The Friday night rally was hosted by Anthony Hardwick the WA President for RUAP.
The evening started with the national anthem and the Lord’s Prayer and a short introduction by Anthony Hardwick who highlighted the exciting and changing times that we live in, not only here in Australia but also the whole globe. He also highlighted the challenges to our democracy due to the imposition of laws restricting the rights to freedom of speech in Australia.
Anthony then introduced the first guest speaker Dr Augusto Zimmerman LLB, LLM, PhD who is currently a senior lecturer at Murdoch University and also a Commissioner with the Law Reform Commission of Western Australia.
Dr Zimmermann captivated the audience with his academic and practical knowledge and experience of “Threats to Free Speech”. He described not only what had happened in history but what is currently happening in Australia.
He quoted Tim Wilson as saying “Anyone who has studied a skerrick of history knows that protecting free speech is about giving voice to the powerless against the majority and established interests”.
There are a number of laws that need to be reformed in Australia but the most urgent is the existing 18C legislation contained in the Racial Discrimination Act 1975, which he maintains need to be totally abolished/repealed.
In question time Dr Zimmerman eloquently addressed the very thoughtful questions posed by the audience, a huge subject covered in a very limited time.
The main speaker was Dr Daniel Nalliah who, as always, brought a refreshing perspective to the political arena, speaking about world events, the political arena in Australia, and the impending elections in Western Australia. He encouraged the audience to engage widely with voters in WA and ensure that each vote was thoughtfully made. He encouraged voters to get behind Pauline Hanson’s party, One Nation, and praised the leaders tenacity since assuming her place in the Federal Parliament.
Thanks go to Sheila Mundy and Alison Rowe for their tireless efforts in organising this very successful event.
The Saturday was spend meeting various like-minded political party representatives and friends of RUAP discussing policy and political strategies – one thing that is clear is that this is a fast changing and evolving environment that we live in and RUAP had to navigate the changing environment boldly.
On the Sunday Afternoon the entire RUAP WA Executive met with the National President Dr Daniel Nalliah, who spelt out the vision of the party, the importance of Western Australia and spent a fruitful time together exchanging strategies and ideas.
After a hugely successful weekend, Dr Nalliah headed back to Melbourne on the early Monday morning flight.
WA President for RUAP, Anthony Hardwick and the executive committee of RUAP WA, expressed their extreme gratitude to Dr Nalliah for taking time out of his busy schedule to travel to Perth ahead of the WA State election.
2) Pastor Daniel was the guest speaker for Living Faith Community Church (LFCC) in Innaloo Perth at the Saturday evening service.
He has preached at this church several times now as a guest of senior pastors Reg Morais and Leanne Shaw, whom he thanked for their kind invitation.
The anointing was heavy as Pastor Daniel taught on differences between acquired knowledge and revelation knowledge and the need to have revelation knowledge.
The congregation was captivated by his illustrations from both the bible and personal experiences that he has had during his life.
Praise the Lord for the five people that gave their lives to our Lord Jesus that night. Pastor Daniel invited anyone wanting prayer to come to receive it from him after the service and approximately 40 people received prayer and experience the power of God.
Pastor Daniel was the guest speaker for HillCity Church in Ellenbrook Perth at the Sunday morning service. He has also preached at this church last year celebrating the churches anniversary. They have since moved to their own church from a community hall and it was a wonderful place of worship for the whole family.
Pastor Daniel thanked Pastor Joe Obisesan for his kind invitation to preach at his church. Pastor Daniel taught on the importance of obedience to God¹s word. The congregation was once again captivated by his illustrations from both the bible and personal experiences that he has had during his life.
We thank God for people¹s lives that were changed at this meeting as a result of Pastor Daniel¹s word and the moving of Holy Spirit.
