Dear friends & family in Christ,Australia Day Prayer

On this Australia Day Monday 26th January 2015 from 10am – 1pm, hundreds of patriotic Aussies from many different ethnicities, Christian denominations and churches will unite as one to pray for peace in Australia at the premises of Catch The Fire Ministries at 30 Star Crescent in Hallam, Victoria.

This intercultural interdenominational prayer vigil will focus on beseeching Almighty God’s Grace, Peace and Protection over this Great South Land of Australia.

Special guest speaker is Reverend Donnie Swaggart, son of the well-known Reverend Jimmy Swaggart from USA.

Special dance presentation from 25 Indonesian Australians from Sydney and many other special cultural items.

There will be bible reading from Psalms 23 & 91 and the Lord’s Prayer.

This National Prayer Day for Australia is a major opportunity for reconciliation and unity as different ethnicities, churches, and denominations, including Anglicans, Catholics, Presbyterians, Protestants, Pentecostals, Charismatics, Evangelicals, Salvation Army and others, come together to corporately pray for our nation’s Government, Armed Forces, Emergency Services, and protection over our country from bush fires & Islamic terrorism.

Ps Daniel stated “As government leaders look for answers as to how to deal with the increasing threat of fundamental Islamism, we as the church need to play a major role in praying and standing shoulder to shoulder with our fellow countrymen to protect our nation. The church must not stay silent, as the silence of the church in history was partly the reason for the success of Nazism, Communism and now Islamism. I call on the church will rise up, pray and act as a united voice to stop the violence and to promote peace.”

We encourage everyone to bring their Australian flags with them and to proudly display their Australia flags on their cars and houses this Australia Day.

The Australian flag, with its Union Jack, the Commonwealth Star and the five stars of the Southern Cross, is the flag under which our brave forefathers fought and died to keep this nation the free, independent, democracy that we all enjoy today.

    Hi Daniel,
just a quick message to let you know that we will be praying for you, especially on aust day,lyn and I unfortunately wont be able to make it as we will be in Poland for a friends of Israel prayer conference in Krakow,so for the first time since the start at festival hall we cant make it and admittedly the day has become a bit of a spiritual highlight to our year, thank you so much for your strong leadership in these issues that God has obviously put on your heart .your trip to Israel sounds great but as we are doing this trip our touring budget will be blown,In fact I believe that this conference that we are going to is the start of 100 days of prayer for Israel and the jews who are trying to get back there, and it finishes a similar time to when your tour is over there so we are sure that you will have a blessed trip, and with the anointing that you take with you we are sure that everyone that goes will be surely blessed as we were a couple of years ago when we went with you, anyway Daniel give our regards to Maryse and your family.
fond regards from pete and lyn

Thank you Ps Danny – God bless you mate! God is surely with you. I live in Rockingham, WA. I watch your services online and they give me great encouragement. I encourage you to press on with the vision God has placed within your heart. You remind me of Nehemiah – No matter the opposition, You will complete the task God has assigned to you! Satan is a defeated foe – We serve the Almighty God! What He has begun He will finish. I pray your church gets behind you 100%. Be aware of the spirit of discouragement. Be on guard. May your heart be overflowed with the joy of the Lord which is your strength. God bless you mightily. I am praying and interceding for you, your family. and your vision to take back Australia as the Great South Land of the Holy Spirit.

    Your sister in Christ,
    Emma

    Dear Daniel,

I fly the flag every day, except when it rains. I admire the way you are proud of our new country. I am a migrant arrived in Australia in 1954 at the age of 16 years old, I was called up for National Service in 1957 and I served in the army. I took up Australian citizenship in the 80s. I am a member of the Christian Democratic Party in NSW, and I support your party, I hope and pray that you will increase your membership as we need Christian political parties in Australia.

    God bless,

    Ron

    Dear Pastor Danny,

Our prime minister is the only Christian PM.

Forces are trying to remove him.

Please pray for him to keep his position.

    Dear Prayer Partners,

It is so important that when we see criticism, disunity and confusion in our political scene, that we recognise the spiritual battle.

I urge you to intercede for our Prime Minister, the Leader of the Opposition and all parties of influence.

We declare a culture of honour and integrity, justice and righteousness to prevail. Some backbenchers are manifesting a wrong spirit out of their own rejection and wounding.

The enemy is using the media to dictate the spiritual battle so intercession is needed to break this. We need to see a spiritual shift over our nation, and for the church not to fall to persuasive political powers. We should all be careful not to judge or criticise our politicians, but operate out of the spirit of Christ. Otherwise we are not operating out of His authority and we weaken our influence.

We declare Isaiah 9:6 – 7 over our nation.

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this.

On the walls at this strategic hour.
