Media Release: John Anderson former Deputy PM lashes out at Minor Parties / speaks to Daniel Nalliah President of RUAP15 Comments Published by Office 2 September 2nd, 2013 in A Call To Action, Australia, Christian Church Issues, Elections, Family, Freedom of Religion, Multiculturalism, Politics, Rise Up Australia, Rise Up Australia Party
The former Deputy PM lashed out at minor parties and their preference deals calling it a ‘Spider web of back room deals.’
This is what he stated in his email dated 30th August,
“Last week 36 parties lodged their preferences for the Queensland Senate. Many of them you would never have heard of. The result has been a spider web of backroom deals that seek to funnel votes into a Senate spot. All of these deals are a replay of the negotiations that installed the minority government three years ago and they threaten to continue the madness and chaos of the last three years. None of this information is available on Senate how to vote cards but voters should know that if you put a #1 above the line for the following parties your vote goes on a wild ride.
A vote for Palmer is a vote for the Greens.
A vote for Katter is a vote for Labor.
A vote for the Family First and other minor Christian parties is a vote for KAP’s (Katter Aus Party) pro gay marriage.”
Daniel Nalliah the President of Rise Up Australia Party & Lead Senate Candidate for Victoria personally called and spoke to John Anderson on Sat 31st Aug 2013 to clarify what he had stated, as RUAP was not a part of this deal making.
Mr Anderson acknowledged that RUAP was not a part of this alliance. That’s why the flow chart on Mr Anderson’s email clearly shows, RUAP has no part in the back room deals.
Today Monday 2nd Sep Daniel Nalliah stated from RUAP office in Melbourne. “Rise Up Australia Party was not a part of these back room deals done by certain minor parties particularly in the Senate.
We were approached several times by some of their main players, but we refused to tie into any deals with them.
Rise Up Australia Party has used our own discretion in doing preferences with likeminded parties with similar values and principles.
Let me be very clear, a # 1 VOTE for Rise Up Australia Party is a Vote for Rise Up Australia Party. Our preferences will definitely secure a Liberal & National Coalition Government.”
