Catch The Fire Ministries has Changed it's Name

Catch The Fire Ministries Inc. has changed its name to Reformation Harvest Fire, and moving forward, you will see references to this name. We aim to complete this name change as soon as feasible and by 30 June 2020 at the very latest.

Dear friends,

May I take this opportunity to say a BIG THANK YOU on behalf of Rise Up Australia Party to all of our faithful Candidates, Helpers, Support Teams, Office Staff and especially to all of you fellow Aussies who voted for us.

Click the following link to watch my short 1 minute thank you video message.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k2-YZWro2hU

We also take this opportunity to congratulate our new Prime Minister Tony Abbott, and the LNP Government, on their victory. We also thank our former Prime Ministers Kevin Rudd, Julia Gillard & the ALP.

This was our first election and I believe that we have done quite well in running 93 candidates across the country. We are so pleased that with limited funding we were relatively successful in getting our brand name ‘RISE UP AUSTRALIA PARTY’ out and known to many people.

Thank you so much for those of you who worked day and night in order to make sure that everything was done well. Thank you so very much for all of you who put your trust in RUAP by voting for us. We still have a chance in securing a Senate seat in Victoria and if successful, I will get the opportunity to serve you in Parliament.

All our Senate and Lower house candidates worked very hard across the country to secure votes and have done their very best. I am so proud of them and thank them from the bottom of my heart, as we all have a passion to Keep Australia Australian for the next generation.

Today I spoke to three AEC officers who were extremely helpful and told me that it will be a few weeks before the final figures will be confirmed, as around 1.8 million Senate ballot papers have not yet been counted. The current predictions can drastically change, and RUAP could very well secure a Senate seat in Victoria.

Whether or not RUAP gets a seat, one thing is for sure, with your help we have done extremely well for the first election, by securing enough primary votes to be listed 8th place out of 39 political parties in Victoria at this point after 62% of the Senate ballots have been counted.

We have learnt a lot during this election campaign and I am sure this will greatly help us for the next election. Round number 1 is over. Now we will get ready for round number 2.

Thank you so very much once again.

May God Bless You All,

Daniel Nalliah
RUAP National President

I believe we have had a glorious success this election. God has firmly established a foundation for RUAP, when I first received the call to politics I joined another party which really was a collection of Christian people making a political party, this was not a well fitting glove.

What I have seen of Rise Up Australia Party is the Church becoming the Government of God and this is what needs to happen. In Greek culture the ekklesia (translated Church) was the called out ones, it was made up of the Greek citizenry, and they would be called out to make political decisions for the nation. How to manage the distributions for the poor, should we go to war etc.. the ekklesia was Greek government.

In Isaiah 9:6-7 Isaiah prophesies about Jesus saying “the government will be upon His shoulders” and in verse 7 “Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end”. In Matthew 16:18 I believe Jesus is speaking of this government when He says “I will build my Ekklesia and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it” it is known that the gates represents the authority of the city, so Jesus is speaking of governmental authority when He speaks of building His Church (Ekklesia) He continues this line of thought when He talks about the giving His Ekklesia the keys of the kingdom of heaven.

What am I trying to say here? The Church is God’s Government on the Earth, but we have lost that understanding and become complacent as the world has told us to separate Church & State (a proclamation to actually keep the State out of the Church) what Rise Up Australia Party has victoriously accomplished in Christ is a rebirth of that Governmental understand of the Ekklesia, and as the Ekklesia starts to Rise Up and understand this position we will start to STAND and proclaim the Word of the Lord as if it came from God Almighty Himself (which of cause it does), and when we do this it will happen with such authority and power and none (the gate of Hades) will be able to prevail against it (Matt 16:18).

I intend to put this into a more concise document in the coming weeks but really felt a need to share this revelation I have had in its raw form right now. God Bless you all and thank you for an opportunity to be a part of this move of God.

Hello Pastor Danny. Good effort. It will be better next time around. I praise the Lord that he has given me the opportunity to vote for someone and a party that shares my belief. Do not give up now. Romans 8:31; “If God is for me, who can be against me.” It is time that we make God known to everyone, even in the political arena. What RUAP did this year is sowing a very good seed. Remember, that seed that you have shown must die first before it comes to life. Keep it up. God bless!

Hello Ps Danny & Team down in Melb,

And of course the RUAP team in Qld & elsewhere. Just wanted to say how much we appreciate your efforts over the last few months. Your determination to stand/rise up for Australia on behalf of us and of the Lord is so pleasing to us humans, but I sense, and much more importunately, pleasing to Him.

In our ‘quite time’ this morning with the Lord, Daphne and I got to the part in chapter 61:3 of Isaiah, that we have been reading through over recent mornings. It jumped out at me and a thought came into my head that it was for you.

To all who mourn in Israel,
He will give a crown of beauty for ashes,
a joyous blessing instead of mourning,
    festive praise instead of despair.
In their righteousness, they will be like great oaks
that the LORD has planted for His own glory. (Isaiah 61:3 NLT)

You will know that this verse was just after the verses Jesus read out just before He sat down and all their eyes were on Him. I might add, all their eyes were on Him – with expectation. And our eyes are on you, together with Him at this time, and they are full of expectation and excitement too.

Blessings and His provision for you all.

    Geoff & Daphne

God, Nations and Individuals by Bill Muehlenberg

With another election concluded in Australia, it is worth reflecting some more on how our Christian faith relates to such things as politics, elections, leaders, and the nations. While zillions of man hours were spent by many on this election, above it all was a greater power.

Given that my daily reading now has me in the book of Daniel, it is fitting to draw upon this book as we reflect not just on the Coalition win in Australia, but God’s way with the nations in general. It is not just mere mortals who are the movers and shakers in the political sphere.

God too is deeply involved. Indeed, a major theme of the book of Daniel is God’s sovereignty over history, over nations, and over rulers. While men may scheme, plot, connive, and promote their various schemes, God is still active and involved, even if we are unaware of this.

As Daniel told King Nebuchadnezzar, “Praise be to the name of God for ever and ever; wisdom and power are his. He changes times and seasons; he deposes kings and raises up others” (Dan. 2:20-21). Or as we find in 4:17: “Most High is sovereign over all kingdoms on earth and gives them to anyone he wishes and sets over them the lowliest of people.”

And in 4:34-35 we find Nebuchadnezzar saying this:
    “His dominion is an eternal dominion;
his kingdom endures from generation to generation.
All the peoples of the earth
    are regarded as nothing.
    He does as he pleases
    with the powers of heaven
and the peoples of the earth.
No one can hold back his hand
or say to him: ‘What have you done?’”

As Stephen Miller states, “Without doubt the principal theological focus of the book is the sovereignty of God. Every page reflects the author’s conviction that his God was the Lord of individuals, nations, and all of history.” And as Tremper Longman reminds us, “his sovereignty is not described abstractly in this book, but in the midst of the historical process, in the nitty-gritty of life.”
Christians are not Deists, who believe that God created the world but then left it to run on its own devices. We believe God in intimately involved in the affairs of men, and he is greatly concerned about such things as politics, leadership, social issues, and the like.

Elsewhere I have been discussing the Australian election results and many overseas folks have been offering their congratulations, wishing they too could see leftist regimes dumped for more conservative and godly ones. Many in the US especially feel this way, so while they like what has happened here, the still groan about their situation there.

One American gal wrote, “I’m so proud of Australia! Lead the way, friends!!!” To which I replied, “Thanks – of course it took a lot of work and a lot of prayer by many.” And that almost throwaway line is loaded with deep spiritual truths.

Yes God is at work, but he also expects us to work. He may be sovereign over the affairs of men, but that does not mean he expects us to just sit back and do nothing. We have to do everything we possibly can: we must work as hard as possible, and pray a hard as possible, trusting God with the results.

The dumping of Labor in Australia in other words was a joint work: human responsibility combined with God’s sovereignty brought it about. The tension between our own responsibility and God’s control and Kingship is of course one of those deep theological mysteries which we will never fully fathom.

How is it that we are told zillions of times in Scripture that we must work, act, and pray as if everything depends on us, yet we are also told zillions of times that God is in charge and his purposes will not be frustrated? That is the stuff of which entire libraries have been written, and so I will not attempt to offer any resolutions here.

I simply want to point out that huge amounts of work, effort, activity and work were put into this election result. It simply would not have happened if all those concerned about the previous government just sat back and did nothing. Thousands upon thousands of people put in millions of hours to make this possible.

And yet we know that God is ultimately responsible for all this, as the book of Daniel – and the rest of Scripture – makes so plain. Thus both man and God were involved, even though how all this works out may forever remain unclear to us.

Those who argued that we should just trust God and not get involved in the political process are absolutely wrong. But those who think it is entirely of our own human efforts are also amiss. So we can all thank those who tirelessly worked to bring in a better, more responsible, and more adult government.

But we must also give thanks to God. He is the one at the end of the day who sets up some and deposes others. Again, we will never properly comprehend this interplay between the human and the divine. But we must believe it since Scripture so frequently speaks to it.

Long ago Augustine put it this way: “Pray as though everything depended on God. Work as though everything depended on you.” He certainly got things right on that one.

    Dear Ps Daniel
Good news! We can continue to pray fora Senate seat as the counts coming through! I don’t know politics well. When i read the news on Intenet, i thought Family First got a seat, and Palmer got too. RUAP got 38,++++ votes. I thought that was it.
Yes, being first time running a campaign, this is good experience/ news being No 8. Miracle can happen! We pray for the new government to hear God’s voice and for Tony Abbott to be protected. Most people prefer Tony LNP party . Regards to Elizabeth, Ps Jason & Angelene!

  25. 25 Maree

    Dear Daniel,

Want to give my congratulations for all your hard work and persistence in the Lord’s work.
Your passion and zeal for the Lord’s will rubs off on me and the team..God bless you!
You are an amazing man of God!!! You put all other leaders to shame… I say this with love and grace…please be very careful on who you listen to within your church leaders…not everything may be of God? Always need to be on God’s agenda and not man to succeed… I know you take a strong stance if it is not God…people just need to be told, good idea, but not God’s way sorry.

Its clear that you had a lot of supporters, we all got more good feedback then we did not so good. It shows the state of the peoples heart and the lack of education they have in the way Government works.
If we had of got out earlier and every state had money for media etc… helps….
God had his way with the change of Government, Hallelujah!!! Praise the Lord Jesus!!!
Also its sad but true and very clear the church does not rise up enough in the things that are of God!! Still voting for liberal and labor.
No doubt next election we will be sort after…
I am getting stirred by the Lord…that we do not stop now, but keep going on issues that surround us…

Please pray about this, what do you think about the RUA team, me & others bringing awareness and fighting for the Ashton Coal mine in Hunter Valley? Chinese are trying to take it over and push out farmers? If Saline water leaks into the river it will affect many farms??
    Its an ICAC issue.
As we know, there is the coal seem gas mining which is a huge issue to the people, farmers rights… saving our meat works from all going halal??? The Muslims are trying to buy everything as you already know…we cant wait 3 years till next election, need to act now on awareness.

Plus there are many other issues we can stand up on in our own Electorates…we are going to discuss these issues in our meetings, as we need to know how to go about it, and be taught…
Like for example, in my electorate the Blacktown pools could be closed down by council? Which is gives kids things to do in summer and school swimming. They want to sell it off??
So I want to fight for that?

Looking forward to your prayerful thoughts and ideas from the Lord on this!!

We can do things as a whole party and as individual teams…
God bless you Daniel and your beautiful family. God’s ways are bigger than our ways…
Bless you with all the wisdom, knowledge, love, joy and peace beyond all measure.

    Shalom and shalom

    Maree

    Danny,

Your dream some years ago in the end was accurate re former PM Gillard, she did finish up early as PM in a humiliating fashion and this demise was brought on by her own hand in calling for a leadership vote re her own position.

Gillard’s successor Mr Rudd then saw his new PM role short lived following his numerous newly adopted ‘popularist’ positions which included bringing on a quick push for changing the hugely important institution of marriage “within 100days”.

Hope Abbot can stand his ground (although I’m concerned about who else is in his team, including Turnbull.)

Well done with your efforts Danny & RUA, you put in a huge try andcame very close in the senate.

    Regards,
    David Daniels

  27. 27 Theresa

    Good Morning,

Amazing; we have had the homofacists forcing their cause into our faces through the media to convince us it is a good thing before the election. I hope this will stop now.

Now, the Australian people have voted with a clear swing against political groups that were supportive of it; yet their is compleat denying silence about this now in the media. They are looking for another reason to blame it on!!?

This Christian Today news paper is the only one that is not in denial.

If Tony Abbott made a deal with the Greens on this to get one of his bills through – it would be very politically bad for him and the Liberal party.

Don’t open the door on that one again, it only divides us as a nation; we are sick of having it forced upon us through media etc.

Australia HAS already voted on this ridiculous homosexual agenda in this election; it’s a big NO THANKS.

    Dear Pastor Daniel,

I handed out how to vote cards for Lyn. Very few people had heard of RUA! So did they not read the local paper, or seen the ads on SBS? Or just tune out?

It would be interesting to correlate the number of votes against the places you had spoken at. Maybe you’ve thought of this.

  30. 30 Nick

    hello Danny and team,
This was an email we sent to our email list. I thought it might encourage you, especially the section called “Aussies for Jesus”.
    Blessings,
    Nick from Toowoomba

    Greetings saints in Christ Jesus,

Through these last three months many of us have been stirred by the Holy Spirit in a fresh way to reach the nation of Australia. This nation is part of the inheritance that belongs to Jesus and we also partake in this inheritance in Christ! (Psalm 2:7-8, Romans 8:17) God has been speaking to many of us about developing a heart and strategy to reach Australia in a committed and purposeful way.

A lot of us have been a part of the election campaign for Rise Up Australia Party and we have seen many of the brethren be activated into a new dimension and place of ministry into the nation. We want to stay with what God is doing and occupy the ground we have taken in terms of our boldness and commitment to see this nation turn to Jesus and to His righteousness and kingdom.

In Papua New Guinea and in Nigeria Paul Galligan saw that there are movements beginning in those places that are focusing their efforts on winning particular tribes to Jesus, calling them back to God as a tribe and as a people group. This brings people out of the denominational mindset into being a people group that is for Jesus. God is bringing people from every tribe, nation and tongue to Him! As a nation we are to honour God, the Lord Jesus Christ!

As a result of this I wrote what is below as a vision called “Aussies for Jesus”. This is the next campaign to bring Australians as a nation to Jesus. We are also called “Revival Ministries Australia”. There are to be ministries going out into Australia bringing revival, renewal and apostolic restoration to the nation. Ministries is plural, meaning many ministries (apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers) going out into the nation to see a bride church emerge that is glorious – “a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation” (1 Pet.2:9).

May this bless you and inspire you to be seeking the Lord for your part in reaching “Aussies for Jesus” and seeing a nation come to Him.

    Grace and peace,
    Nick

    Aussies for Jesus!

It is time! Now is the day! You were born for such a time as this!

The Bible says in Acts 17:26-27, “God has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their pre-appointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings, so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us.”

It is time for Australia as a nation to turn and seek Jesus. God has made us as a nation and pre-appointed us as a nation for such a time as this. He wants us to look for Him and find Jesus!

This has nothing to do with “going to a church”. This has nothing to do with “religion”. This has nothing to do with “which church do you belong to” and it has nothing to do with promoting a denomination.

This is a call for Australians to turn to God by putting their trust in Jesus and entering a real, personal and intimate relationship with God through Jesus. This is a call to a whole change of life and lifestyle. This is a call of God for a nation to live for Jesus!

In our homes – Aussie families for Jesus!
In our workplaces – Aussie workers for Jesus!
In our sporting arenas – Aussie athletes for Jesus!
In our media – Aussie journalists for Jesus!
In our parliament – Aussie politicians for Jesus!
In our universities and schools – Aussie students for Jesus!
In our arts and entertainment – Aussie performers for Jesus!
In our hospitals – Aussie doctors and nurses for Jesus!
In our justice system – Aussie judges, magistrates and lawyers for Jesus!

This land has been declared “The great south land of the Holy Spirit”. Australia has a prophetic destiny to willful. The Holy Spirit of God is moving in our land to see Australians get real with Jesus and be restored, refreshed, revived, renewed and regenerated by the life, energy and power of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus is God manifested in the flesh. Jesus said, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth”. This means Jesus is the Sovereign King over Australia as a nation. It is time for Aussies to know their God and King. It is time for His kingdom to fill this land with “righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit”. It is time for the nation of Australia to be filled with the fullness of the God who is love, power, healing and forgiveness.

It is time for Australia to be discipled as a nation in obedience to Jesus’ command. It is time for Australia to be taught to observe everything Jesus commanded and instructed.

It is time to meet house to house, breaking bread, proclaiming the victory of Jesus’ death until He comes, restoring godliness in our lives, households and communities.

Rise up and be an Aussie for Jesus!

  31. 31 Gloria

Thank you Pastor Daniel Nalliah and all the team.

I was blessed to be able to vote RUA in the senate.

Thank you Pastor Daniel for your strong leadership and uncompromising stance on moral issues.

    Daniel

God bless you in your commitment, fervor and determination to keeping Australia Australian. At 6:30 on Friday I was asked to help at a polling station in Geelong, willingly agreed and prayed that I would not be drawn into any contentious discussions but be lead by the Holy Spirit to maintain a gracious demeanor, thus co-incidentally I had the opportunity to stand beside a young man representing the Greens. He wanted to know where as parties the Greens and RUAP stood, we listed each other at the bottom of the how to vote cards!!

He mentioned that he had good morals and then questioned a man from the Christian Party about what was wrong with homosexuality as we are only animals he felt that if men as consenting adults didn’t hurt anybody it was OK. The man seemed very much on the back foot, so I asked if I could clarify the Christian stance. I queried his belief about our being just animals and offered that God created man and woman and if only from a physical view we are well suited. As a married man with two children he agreed, then responded that men can also enjoy themselves. He said his parents were Church attending Christians (Uniting Church) and accepted homosexuality, I mentioned that church ordains homosexual ministers. I responded that homosexuality was not God’s intention and thus is out of God’s will, and beyond His Father’s heart of caring and protection. He then stood away from me, but came back after a few minutes.

He questioned me on IVF my explanation was that Jesus gave us the power to heal, he responded he had a physical problem I cited healings in our church (Bethel – with the Healing Rooms), he asked where we were. He asked about what was wrong about evolution, Islam and many other topics on which we disagreed, including blaming Israel for the discord. I thank the Holy Spirit for enabling my responses with no sense of dissension. I clarified that our basis of reference in all things was the Bible.

The young man ended up offering to hand out RUAP leaflets if I wanted to go get some lunch or a coffee. I thanked him for his kindness.

As you can imagine I felt most encouraged by the encounter and much appreciated the opportunity to help with the little I did for RUAP.

May God continue to bless you abundantly

    Caryl

  35. 35 June

    Dear Danny

Thank you so much! thank you for all you have done and all the candidates. Our candidate Mark is a blessing!

It was interesting at the polling booth at Australind, WA Shopping centre, where myself and Karen were for the day.
90% I would say had already made up their minds who they were going to vote for. I noticed that the younger people 18 to 30’s
knew who they were going to vote for too. That is very interesting!
Also amongst the people who were with us handing out how to vote cards, many were Christians.
I spoke with Liberal, Labour, Family First and Australian Christian party people, I would expect the last 2 to be Christian
but Labour and Liberal representatives were Christian, I had a number of God stories in between times, very encouraging to
see what God is doing here. The Clive Palmer candidate was introduced to me and he too is a Christian.
Praise the Lord eh!!! “Arise Shine for your light has come”

You did very well in Victoria, and the votes are still coming in I expect.

God Bless you and all your family

Dear Elizabeth. Whilst it is still fresh in my mind – just a couple of comments that may be helpful for ‘Rise Up Australia Party’ in subsequent elections –
    1. Could the policy points be printed on the back of the ‘How to Vote’ leaflets? (The Australian Christians did this and it was very helpful and very well received by voters).
    2. Could the colour green not be used on the hour to vote cards. This area is a very conservative area and some voters would not take a ‘How to Vote’ slip from us because they saw the panel of green on the card and thought we were ‘The Greens!’
Blessings to Pastor Daniel and everyone that worked so tirelessly for JESUS and our Nation. You all did a fantastic job. Thank you and GOD bless, Cheryl

    Blessings Daniel & RUAP,

Our party candidate Nino said I should send into you the attached myself & my scooter decked out with our RUAP stickers, front & back, t-shirt and two Australian Flags I had on everyday of our election campaign as both my wife Angel & myself did most of our flyer dropping for our electorate of Herbert, walking the suburbs of Kelso, Rasmussen, Cranbrook, Aitkenvale & part of Kirwan here in Townsville from 1 week prior to the election being announced to the day prior to polling day. We won’t find out the exact amount of votes Nino got until around next Tuesday, however we were very disapointed to know that overall our votes combined with Family First party didn’t even come close to the amount of votes the Sex Party got here in Herbert electorate. We had a really good final post election meeting this evening with Nino who will bring on our behalf what our thoughts are for what we believe our Lord God has put on our hearts in our prayers, what we believe we need to seriously look at before our next election if Rise Up Australia is to have any hope of success at our next election in 3 years time, when he comes down for your post election meeting with all RUAP candidates soon.

God Bless us Australians to keep Australia Australian for generations to come.

    Gerry & Angel
