We’re pleased to announce that Yasser Arafat’s ex-driver Tass Saada will be ministering at a Seminar from 2-5pm, also an Outreach Rally at 7pm on Saturday 25th May, and at our 9:30am worship service on Sunday 26th May at CTFM at 23 Melverton Dr in Hallam (Melbourne).

Taysir Abu Saada (Tass) was born in the Gaza Strip in 1951. His parents immigrated to Saudi Arabia where he was raised as a Muslim.  Tass hated the Jews and the fact of Israel’s existence, and as a youth he joined the “Fatah Forces” under Arafat.  He was trained as a sniper to kill Jews. He also trained children to fight and kill Jews.

After coming to the United States to seek an education, he met and married an American girl, Karen. In 1993 through a supernatural encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ, Tass became a “born again” believer and soon after, so did Karen.

Since that time, Tass and Karen have been taking the message of peace to the people Tass hated the most (the Jews) and to the brethren he was willing to die for (the Muslims).

In 1996 they began “Hope for Ishmael”, a ministry dedicated to reconciliation be-tween Arabs and Jews and also “Seeds of Hope, Inc” , a registered humanitarian organization. “Bringing Hope to the hopeless.

Because of their dedication to reaching out in love to Muslims, many Iraqis, Filipinos, Palestinians, Americans and Europeans have seen the Gospel in action and their lives have been radically changed. Tass has authored the book “Once an Arafat Man”, the story of his journey from all consuming hatred and anger to unconditional love through a relationship with Jesus Christ. At the centre of all he does, is his passion to see the gospel of reconciliation through Jesus Christ presented to Gentiles, Arabs, and Jews.

  1. 1 Bill

One. OK, so I wrote four articles on the London terror attack in 24 hours . It is because all this is really very important. The streets of Sweden are on fire. Beheadings are taking place on the streets of London.

Five-year-olds are being raped and tortured to death. When will we wake up to the fact that Islam is not quite a religion of peace? http://www.billmuehlenberg.com/2013/05/23/islams-useful-idiots/

Two. The MSM has a lot to answer for when they act as apologists for Islamic jihad. A pox on all of them:

Three. If we refuse to identify the enemy, we will never prevail against it. Indeed, seeking to appease the enemy and whitewash it will only result in our own destruction: http://www.billmuehlenberg.com/2013/05/24/knowing-the-enemy/

Four. While we all must be concerned about creeping sharia and stealth jihad, we must also pray for and seek to reach our Muslim neighbours. We must try to do both at the same time, as difficult as it may be: resist jihadism and love individual Muslims:
