1) Further to the email we sent last week about Christian Evangelical Leader Billy Graham endorsing Romney’s (a Mormon) ‘strong moral convictions’ over Obama’s (most people are unsure whether he’s a Muslim or a Christian) policies favouring same-sex marriage and the many responses we received, we’re forwarding an excellent article written on October 22, 2012 from Christian Evangelical Leader Franklin Graham, titled ‘Can An Evangelical Christian Vote for a Mormon?’
“I pray that all Christians and God-fearing Americans will put aside labels and vote for principles—God’s principles—that for many years have resulted in His blessing upon our nation,” says Franklin Graham.
This question has stirred much debate. Historically, Christians have voted for candidates of different faiths, including Mormons, based on how they live their lives and how deeply committed they are to upholding the U.S. Constitution. Remember, God ordained government, and we are not electing a pastor-in-chief, we are electing a commander-in-chief.
