As of 2011, Brazil is the world’s second most Christian-populated country.
(Sao Paulo, Brazil)—More than a million Christians united in Brazil on Saturday, July 15, in an annual march for Jesus in the streets of Sao Paulo.
The Christian Post reports that hundreds of Protestant churches take part in the event organized by the Reborn in Christ Church.
According to the report, Brazil’s evangelical population is exploding, jumping from 6.6 percent to 22.2 percent of the country’s population.
The Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life also lists Brazil as the world’s second most Christian-populated country as of 2011.
