Dear friends and family in Christ,

1) Below is an important article from Kirsten Jack regarding ‘Undeniable’ this Sun 15th 7:30pm at Federation Square in Melbourne for your prayer and participation if possible.

Let’s unite as the Body of Christ in Melbourne to publicly proclaim that God is real, alive and well, and that Jesus is King of kings and LORD of lords!

 2) Also for those of you in the Melbourne area, please note that our 9:30am and 6:30pm weekly worship services are on as usual this Sunday 15th April at CTFM Apostolic Centre, 23 Melverton Dr Hallam.

Dear Friend,  I love God with all my heart. He is faithful, loving and powerful. But the Global Atheist Convention is coming to Melbourne in less than two weeks and they intend to make a mockery of our God. I don’t know about you, but I’m not OK with this!

There comes a point when something has to be done and it needs to be done loud!

Two men I know are making a public and loud stand – Pastor Dennis Prince and comedian Ben Price.Ps Dennis Prince (my dad) has produced a Christian newspaper (The Regal Standard) in response to the Atheist Convention, to glorify God and make him known. So far it has sold 75,000 copies. Churches everywhere have been distributing it. An article was written about it in the Age Newspaper and he has been interviewed by Derryn Hinch on radio. Even the Global Atheist Convention have put it on their blog, albeit to ridicule it.

And here I butt in…

Twelve days ago the Lord stirred my heart to put on an event in response to the Global Atheist Convention. Now I’m a mum with five kids aged 1-9 and two have special needs. So how could this be possible? But God’s favour has been absolute. He has provided the people and He has opened the doors. He’s been preparing this for a long time!

Ben Price, Australia’s best impersonator caught the vision, as God had already been stirring his heart to be bold and unashamed in expressing his faith. This is so ironic! The city is in the middle of a comedy festival, and the atheist convention will also have its own comedians mocking us Christians. But our God chooses a comedian to boldly declare the reality of God by way of his own unashamed testimony.

And there will be more testimonies. We have an ex-Marxist/Atheist who is now the pastor of a large and vibrant church in Melbourne. We also have an ex-drug runner for a renowned Australian drug lord who is helping co-ordinate a large part of this event. And we have “Compliments of Gus” performing, one of Australia’s premier Christian bands.

And all this is happening on Sunday 15th April at 7:30pm at Federation Square (the Main Stage). On the last day of the Global Atheist Convention, in the heart of the city.

But it’s even BIGGER than this! We want to send a HUGE message to the people of Melbourne. We want to respond en-masse with one loud voice. Because it’s not just Ben Price and friends that can say “I know God is real because He has changed my life”, but it is ALL of us. We all have a story to tell.

And so I’m boldly asking every man, woman and child from every church and denomination to come to Federation Square on Sunday 15th April. Come wearing a white T-shirt (or top) and bring your glow sticks. We will also have a limited number of printed T-shirts with the words “ASK ME MY STORY”. Our message to the media is that there are thousands of us with a unique story to tell. Our testimonies are evidence that there is a God, because He has changed our lives.

Many churches and individuals are already responding with great excitement and readiness. Last week Southern Lights Church from Skye announced they were cancelling their night service and guest speaker to join us and assist with co-ordination. Will you also stand with us? Will you add your voice to make this message resonate across the city?

Will you…

1. COME to Federation Square (7:30pm) on Sunday 15th April! Be early to grab a good spot.

2. SPREAD THE WORD like crazy. It’s only 2 days to go and this message needs to FLY!!! Email, Facebook, Twitter, print the brochure from our website www.undeniablemelbourne.com/download-the-flyer/ and hand it out everywhere!!!

    Hi

Recently visited your fair city (Melbourne) and actually came back today – 15 April 2012 after a four day visit.

God put it into my heart to pray for Melbourne (particularly for revival) in the city. I sensed that Satan has some strongholds in this place and my son (a strong Holy Spirit Filled) Christian had a vision of God appearing to him in a supernatural dream vision form whilst in Melbourne. In the dream God once again came into him with his spirit and the experience was so real that he woke up with a strong tingling sensation all over his body. In the vision he saw two witches and God instructed him to pray against these two witches.

I saw a place called witches in britches (near Flagstaff Park) and I have prayed againts this horribly demonic looking place with its occultic symbols displayed in the windows.

God wants revival in this place. A whole genertaion of youth aare at risk f being lost to the power of Satan with the vices that he throws at them (alcohol abuse and drugs etc).

Lovely people in Melbourne and I will be rpaying for all of them.

God loves even empty-headed fools, whether they are clowning about as unashamed actors or as self-proclaimed intellectual lights. Even today the atheist’s protestations of obedience to science (so-called) fall in a heap, pathetic to view. Man the engineer of the weather, Man descended from pondscum, Man the master as he free falls into ridicule. For the record, some of the ‘leading lights’ of the modern atheist movement flatly refuse to face up to their responsibilities as supposed educators and turn and hide whenever confronted with modern facts. I wish I had enough heart to weep.

Extract from the Journal of John Wesley. The Editor titled it, “Methodism on the Stage”: perhaps a more suitable title might be, “He who sits in the Heavens shall Laugh”.

Nov.2, 1743, Newcastle [England]—the following advertisement was published:FOR THE BENEFIT OF MR. ESTE.
By the Edinburgh Company of Comedians, on Friday, November 4, will be acted a comedy, called

    THE CONSCIOUS LOVERS;
To which will be added a farce, called,
TRICK UPON TRICK, or METHODISM DISPLAYED

On Friday, a vast multitude of spectators were assembled in the Moot Hall to see this. It was believed there could not be less than fifteen hundred people, some hundreds of whom sat on rows of seats built upon the stage. Soon after the comedians had begun the first act of the play, on a sudden all those seats fell down at once, the supports… breaking like a rotten stick. The people were thrown one upon another, about five foot forward, but not one of them was hurt. After a short time the remainder of the spectators were quiet, and the actors went on. In the middle of the second act, all the shilling seats gave a crack, and sank several inches down. A great noise and shrieking followed, and as many as could readily get to the door, went out and returned no more. Notwithstanding this, when the noise was over, the actors went on with the play. In the beginning of the third act the entire stage suddenly sank about six inches: the players retired with great precipitation; yet in a while they began again. At the latter end of the third act, all the sixpenny seats, without any kind of notice, fell to the ground. There was now a cry on every side; it being supposed that many were crushed in pieces. But, upon inquiry, not a single person (such was the mercy of God) was either killed or dangerously hurt. Two or three hundred remaining still in the hall, Mr. Este (who was to act the Methodist) came upon the stage and told them that for all this he was resolved the farce should be acted. While he was speaking, the stage sank six inches more; at this he ran back in the utmost confusion, and the people as fast as they could out of the door, none staying to look behind him.
Which is most surprising – that those players acted this farce the next week – or that some hundreds of people came again to see it?

    Hi

Recently visited your fair city (Melbourne) and actually came back today (To New Zealand) – 15 April 2012 after a four day visit.

I saw a place called “Witches in Britches (near Flagstaff Park) and a rather empty looking church across the road. It occurred to me why does the church look somewhat empty and run down and yet this demonic place (scarcely a few hundred metres away) seems to be doing good business. I have prayed against this horribly demonic looking place with its occult symbols displayed in the windows.

God wants revival in this place. A whole generation of youth are at risk of being lost to the power of Satan with the vices that he throws at them (alcohol abuse and drugs etc. – clubbing all night).

Lovely people in Melbourne (young and old) and I will be praying for all of them.

Rise up church, rise up now. Enough is enough Satan is winning the battle in Melbourne. I will continue to pray for you all.

    God Bless
    Lyon
