Dear family & friends in Christ,

In the last few weeks, as I have been thinking very much of our dear Muslims friends, the Lord has given me a real burden to start praying for their protection. I know we all want to see them get born again, but we need to really ask a very serious question, “Do we really love them and if we love them, do we have a motive behind our love??”

As Christians, we really need to check our hearts, whether we talk the talk and also walk the walk. If we only love them because we want to win them to Jesus, although this is good and very important, our motive is wrong. Can we love all people, simply because we love them, or do we love them because we have an agenda ??

Let me encourage you, many years ago, I was the same. But when the Lord took me into Saudi Arabia, I was really challenged. I asked the Lord, How can I love these people when they don’t even let me pray in my house or have a Bible and they treat me so badly?? At once I was reminded of the scripture, “Bless those who persecute you, and do not curse them. But pray for them.”  Also the Lord Jesus said in His Word, “It is easy to love those who love you, anyone can do it. But if you are a true Christian, you need to love those who even hate you and pray for them.” In the heart of Islam, right in Saudi Arabia, I received a real love for the Muslim people.

While watching news I was deeply sadden to see the number of Muslims who are getting killed all throughout the Islamic world. I believe that hundreds of Muslims are dying every day due to war and natural disasters. This includes men, women and children. Have we prayed for their protection? Do we realise that they were also created in the image of God.

Does this mean that we need to embrace Islamic teachings and practices? No, of course not. We love the Germans, but we do not approve of Nazi ideology. We love the Chinese and Russians, but we do not agree with communist philosophy. In other words, we love the sinner (be it Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu, Jew, atheist or other) but not the sin.

Can I ask all you wonderful people to please take some time and pray for the Muslim world and for God’s protection over these dear Muslim people.  In the last few nights I watched on news as to how many civilians were getting killed in Syria, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Egypt, Libya, Palestine, Yemen and the list goes on and on. It is so sad to see so many small Muslim children so badly wounded and some dead.

When the Islamic Council of Victoria took me to court, while we were right in the middle of the court battle, I was driving my car in Melbourne and it was raining very heavily. At the traffic lights I saw three Muslims women stuck in their car, as their car was not starting. They were all covered in black. I passed them, then made a U-turn and came back and helped them start their car by pushing it in the pouring rain.

Then I got into my car and suddenly realised, “Thank God I don’t hate them, I actually love them.” Even though I was going through the court battle (praise God we won this battle for Freedom of Speech), still the love of Jesus came out of me, and so I thank the Lord. Then one day the Islamic Council’s President had sprained his ankle and came to court in a pair of crutches. When I saw him out of the court room, I felt so sorry for him and gave him a big hug. He was very surprised.

The next day the Age newspaper had an article, ‘Enemy’s hug each other outside court.’ I thought it was very funny.

A few months ago I met with 15 Muslims who had just come out of the detention centre on Christmas Island. They came to Australia on the Tampa. All of them were from Iran and Afghanistan. We had a wonderful time together over a cup of tea and some biscuits. I was able to find some of them jobs and also find some furniture for their homes. Jesus told us to feed and clothe those who were in need.  As we do it for them, He said that we have done it unto Him.

Sometime ago, my wife told me, “Danny, some people don’t like you.” I just started laughing and said to her,  “I thought many people did not like me, but I love them all and will pray for them, as the Bible states that as we draw closer to the coming of Jesus all people will hate us.”

Just because you stand your ground for what you believe in does not mean that you hate people. When Jesus went into the temple and saw what was happening, He took a whip and chased them all out and turned the tables over. Does this mean Jesus hated those people?? NO, not at all. Jesus loves all people, even those who crucified Him.

So let me end by saying. Please love and pray for the Muslims and all others because you love them, not because you want to win them. If your heart is truthful, God will draw them into His presence. Does this mean we should not talk about Jesus? Not at all. Please talk about Jesus at all times as the Holy Spirit leads you, but love them because you love them. Then you will never walk away from your friend, even if they do not respond to the message of Jesus.

Your Bro In Christ,

Pr Daniel Nalliah

    Dear Pastor Danny,

This is one of the best ‘reports’ I have witnessed from your postings. Thank you.

As we stay focused on the reason God has us engaged in Impacting our world we do well that our primary motive must always flow from His heart. which ultimately is a heart torn by the seperation between Himself and individuals (Nations! (ethne)).

God bless you with more of His Heart.

Thanks Danny for an excellent article.

I agree with you wholeheartedly, that as Christians we should pray for not only our brothers and sisters in need, but also for these muslims suffering throughout the world.

Thank you for this wonderful message, it is so true!

I think we need to ask ourselves WHY are all these Muslims coming to Australia in the first place? Are they really under threat in their own country? or are they coming so they can one day try to take over Australia from within. I notice most of them come without family, WHY?

    Good afternoon Danny,

I agree with the sentiment of your email, however if God ‘loves ALL people’, how do you reconcile His mercy extending to his ELECT people?

See Romans 9:6-22 [particularly verse 15]

I would appreciate your response when you have a moment.

    Hello Daniel,

I really like what you are saying and I support your statement loving every single person on this planet for being a creation of God…not for any other reasons.

But would you please stop referring to Nazis when you talk about Germans. This is history. Of course there are still racist people in Germany, but the Germans are no Nazis.

Well, if I got that wrong I am sorry.

But I, as a German in Australia, planning to migrate here, feel kind of offended since you are using the term ‘Nazis’ in the same breath you use the word ‘Germans’

    Thank you.

    God bless you.

    Dear My Beloved in Christ!

He did this so as to make what God had said through the prophet Iasaih come true.

Here is My servant, whom I have chosen. I will send My Spirit upon Him the one I love and with whom I am pleased and He will announce My judgment to the nation. Pray for this amen.

Awesome…..!!!! I love your comments so much. I think we all are created by Allah. As a Muslim we not only love Muslims but also love all of his creation.

Thank you so very much for this message.

    Such an encouragement.

Thanks for this reminder Danny. It is easy to slip into a ‘them & us’ mentality and forget that they are people like us, in need of our love and prayers.

    grace & peace … Dorothy

Thank you for this message, Daniel, it has really challenged me, especially with my husband right now who blatantly says he will never become a Christian, I pray I will love him without a hidden agenda, as Christ first loved the world. Bless you and all Muslim people.

    Hello Pastor Daniel,

I agree whole heartedly and will pray as requested……

I believe we are watching the Assyrian rise up, Isa 10 – 19……..He will be broken on the mountains of Israel…….The little horn, lets all pray for any innocents caught inbetween and that any opportunity that arises we will “catch or sieze” to further Gods kingdom….

Shalom to you and your congregation….

    Hey Daniel,

I love what you have shared here, thank you! Only this evening I was pondering on the scripture “love casts out all fear” & was thinking about how lovely & peaceful it is when we choose to love everyone, esp those who dislike or hate us.

I pray that Australia will become a nation that is known for her warm loving heart for others, the soft heart of flesh that reflects God’s heart for us… It is so obvious to me why God has chosen you, above all, to lead us! I am praising Jesus yet again for you & for His great plans for this nation. Hallelujah!

    Dear Danny,
Re your article. What about the tough love teaching of Lord Jesus ? e.g.” Ye are of your father the devil” “unless you repent ye shall all likewise perish” “Broad is the road that leads to destruction” “Beware of false prophets” “Ye generation of vipers” and more.

All these apply to Islam and its followers. No big hugs here. As far as I am aware Jesus did not hug anyone.

People and nations who reject Jesus suffer the consequences, as is seen in the violent madness of Islamic countries who follow the

false prophet with the 6 year old wife and spread his filthy lie that —Jesus was NOT crucified–

God bless you and the R.U.A.

  20. 20 M F Stephen

To Moul Nathan and all confused Christians. We are not all created by “Allah” for “Allah” has no son. In Islam, Jesus is only a prophet and NOT THE SON OF GOD.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
John 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
1 John 4:9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

    Dear Pastor Daniel

Thank you so much for putting this letter out – it is such an important matter and one not often addressed.
It really is the agape love of God – totally unconditional.

I am sorry that I was away this year when you came to kangaroo island – it was a very fruitful visit, and caused quite a furore in some places! praise the Lord. God is so good!

My congregation who attended Acacia Apartments on the Saturday night were greatly blessed, inspired and challenged.

May God continue to give you much wisdom and favour as you pursue his purposes, especially in the national political arena.
I will be praying for you often.

    with love in Christ Jesus,
