Rise Up Australia Political Party LogoMedia Release

The announcement of a new political party will be made on the steps of the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal building at noon on Wednesday June 22nd, by Dr Daniel Nalliah. This date marks the fourth anniversary of an historic victory for freedom of speech in Australia, after a complaint in 2002 by the Islamic Council of Victoria against Dr Nalliah, which resulted in a five year court battle. Dr Nalliah will also be observing a minutes silence during his address, in respect for the Australian diggers who have sacrificed their lives to protect our freedoms in Australia.

Dr Nalliah said the Party was formed to protect Freedom of Speech, other Freedoms and the erosion of Christian values in Australia, as a balance for the  left wing agenda and to stem the tide of divisive forces associated with multi-culturalism. He said the newly formed Party was committed to keeping the Australian way of life strong.

Dr Nalliah said “It is with great joy that we announce the formation of this new political party, a party for all people who embrace Australia as home. This Party is totally committed to protecting the Australian way of life and our Christian heritage upon which Australia was founded. While acknowledging some positive aspects of multiculturalism, Dr Nalliah said there had been an overwhelming amount of negativity and division  stemming from multiculturalism, and cited Europe as an example of how it has led to violent ethnic enclaves. The leaders of both Germany and the UK have recently made statements denouncing multiculturalism as a failure.”

The recent outburst in Sydney against a NSW police officer by a Muslim woman wearing the burqa, and the subsequent decision by the court of appeal to clear her on the grounds that she could not be identified, is a striking example of the failure of multiculturalism in our nation of Australia. The violence demonstrated outside the courts against the media by Muslim supporters of this woman is a real mockery to the Australian way of life, justice and peace. Furthermore, it prevents the ability for our police force to enforce law and order.

“Immigrants who make Australia their home, while free to celebrate their own ethnic backgrounds, must respect Australian culture. Rise Up Australia Party is totally opposed to the introduction of Sharia law in Australia – it is incompatible with our democracy and particularly curtails the civil rights and freedoms of women” said Dr Nalliah.

“Ever since I have called Australia home, I have watched secular left-wing movements in Australia pushing their agendas through Parliament and taking Australia away from her Christian foundations. These undergirding foundations are what have made Australia such a great democracy in which to live, and one of the most stable and peaceful countries in the world.

The Rise Up Australia Party Board of Directors is comprised of medical doctors, business men and women, housewives and Christian ministers and people with many years of experience in the political arena. Dr Nalliah said they are ready for a twenty year fight to take back Australia and keep it Australian and are seeking to recruit in excess of 500 members to register as a party to contest the next Federal election
“We cannot let the extreme left parties such as the Greens to control the balance of power in government. It is time to stand up for our nation, to be proud and patriotic, and to protect our Australian way of life before it is too late. It is time for Australia to rise up” said Dr Nalliah.

Best wishes Dr Nalliah and all supporters.

This is a historic moment for Australia.

Australians must support this Party or else our freedoms and rights will be gone within 20 years.

We must as a nation stand up for what we believe in.

    Gods blessings to you all

38 Now in the present case let me say to you, stand off (withdraw) from these men and let them alone. For if this doctrine or purpose or undertaking or movement is of human origin, it will fail (be overthrown and come to nothing)

39 But if it is of God, you will not be able to stop or overthrow or destroy them; you might even be found fighting against God!

    Hi Jason,

    Many thanks for the update.

I am so excited about the RUA and the Public Announcement.

I’m only disappointed that I couldn’t fly over to celebrate with you all.

Living in the West is wonderful, but sometimes it feels a little isolated.

    God bless you,

    Dear Danny,

In 1976 I was given a booklet containing a prophecy by a Spirit filled itinerant evangelist who said that Australia would be invaded from the north and he saw in a vision a map of Australia blacked out to about half way from the north. This came to mind when I saw the Defence Minister announcing plans for military installations from west two east in the North. He was ‘hazy’ about ‘other’ Asian powers possibly hostile to us, while emphasising the rise of China. US being in decline makes us more vulnerable. The Islamic situation these days is obvious.

    Worth your people’s intercession.

    In Christ, Rob.

Well done pastor Danny, God bless and protect you!

Christians are citizens too, its about time we had a specifically Christian party that honours Jesus and his teachings, and challenges the

pervasive and destructive values of the modern west (and the rest of this benighted planet). Pastor and Party are definitely on

    my prayer list!

Let’s be clear: NOWHERE in the Koran, Hadith or Sunna does it say that Muslims must eat Halal certified food.”

On phone today I spoke to Sec. of Dr. D. Jensen, Lib. Fed. Memb. for our area,Tangey, currently in Canberra. Told her, Sue, re CTFM/ RUA ministries.

    Dear Dr Nalliah

It is with great surprise and even shock that I read your media release regarding your setting up a new party to combat multiculturalism. I am pleased that so many new Australians have found Australia home but to now stand up and bite the hand that fed you – it was an example of multiculturalism that allowed your entry – seems hypocritical. A country that does not celebrate multiculturalism will hardly encourage new migrants to “embrace Australia as home”.

I am most concerned with the fact that your understanding of multiculturalism seems so narrow. It is also a shame, that, as a Christian, you would allow other Christians and also non- Christians to receive the distorted picture of the type of God we worship which you project by this stance. Rev. 7:9 proclaims “a vast crowd, too great to count, from every nation and tribe and people and language, standing in front of the throne and before the lamb.” A God worshipped by a multicultural choir . The multicultural beginnings of the church in Antioch, the outreach into Gentile/non-Jewish nations/cultures all show us a God of Nations, of many cultures, whose “secret plan” of touching the world demonstrated his all – encompassing love. By denying the term, you deny the reality of God-acceptance of all nations. (Note: I did not say of all religions). Monocultural countries, by inference, are not multicultural and therefore do not seem to have this place of honour! “Culture” shows itself in many ways, through language, traditions, and worldviews to name a few. Religion is only one – and seems to be the only one that you take offence with. So, please do not throw out the baby with the bath water.

A multicultural policy that allows the entry of many cultures into Australia gives an opportunity to the non-Christian migrants to receive the Christ of the Christian religion. A monocultural society where we have Australians for the Australians, limits evangelism to non- Christian Australians only, to state the obvious. Our present multicultural society has allowed the mission field to come to us. Problematical situations for example, with Muslims using Sharia law in Sydney should be dealt with in other ways besides starting a new party. By all means make our dissenting voices known. Pray to the Almighty God to remove or disallow a parallel legal system to operate. Activate local politicians – whatever it takes. But starting a party based on what looks like hatred seems counter -productive. By all means stand up and be counted for positive as well as negative issues. I am not advocating political correctness at all. But show Australians the truth; show them that there is a better way. Show them how multiculturalism can work by showing them a GREAT example. Show them how God’s multicultural church can succeed; show them how it can operate best, with the right aims and the right methods – in the Christian church. For if it cannot happen there, then, yes, it may not be possible. But it can – because it is aligned with the purposes of God. Observe the churches where this is successful. (International City Church, Brisbane is one such church with this mandate.)

Rather than pull down “multiculturalism” how about showing what it really can mean, breaking down dividing walls between cultures, between societies, between ages and socioeconomic groups. Let them see how God’s love, through God’s ways i.e. Kingdom – culture, can bring unity and harmony within diversity, allowing freedom within Christianity – Biblical Christianity expressed through many cultures.

Dr. Nalliah, multiculturalism is a hard-won guiding principle for Australia, not perfect in every way because of the different understandings. But perfect when understood and exhibited properly and evangelistic in its love, and strengths. Remain vigilant and encourage, instead, ways to fight the evil that may follow. But do not block off opportunities for God to touch the lives of His lost children. Do not bring derision on His name by others’ misinterpretation of your actions. Be a light to all nations and a hope against falsehood to people who have come looking for a new, really new, life.

Dear Jason, Greetings in the Lord.

I just wanted to bring to your attention what appears to be coming across to the public in Daniel’s campaign.. I may have missed much of what he is presenting-so just ignore this if my understanding is incorrect. What I am reading are quotes saying he is against multiculturalism and I have never read that he is pro multi-ethnicity (if there is such a word). On the whole I think the public do not realize the very important difference between the two, and will be quite confused that he , as a migrant himself , can be against bringing other nationalities into Australia. We know the main point of the whole issue is that they migrate to Australia & be welcomed as new ethnic migrants ,but they need to migrate with the intention of accepting the laws & the culture of Australia. But in most of the public’s thinking, I believe they do not understand the most important issue, which is they can’t change their ethnic heritage & we appreciate that & know they add richness to our society, but that they must be willing to gradually let go their own culture & be absorbed into ours.

I feel there is real confusion re this issue & it needs to be clarified ASAP. Lovingly, June

    Dear Jason

it seems that even Christians are confused on what your party stands for in the realm of “multiculturalism”

it would be really good to clarify clearly for the benefit of those who have not fully grasped the difference.

while “multiculturalism” cannot be erased or done away with as it brings with it many positives ( some negatives will also be faced ) The people embracing their NEW HOME must live by the rules / laws and governance set by the state which they have chosen to embrace. what we find however is the contary with them seeking to change the state / laws to accomodate their OWN SET of laws. This will spell disaster for any society with different laws been applied for different ethinic groups.

God accepts all Nations and ethnic groups……but we must not forget that GOD of the BIBLE has ONE LAW & STANDARD APPLIED FOR ALL PEOPLES. HE DOES NOT HAVE DIFFERENT SET FOR ONE ETHNIC GROUP AND ANOTHER FOR SOME OTHER.

In the same way those who come to live in Australia or any other soverign country must accept the law of that land, after all they chose to come and live fully knowing the terms of governance…..IT IS THEIR FREE CHOICE.

They should not CRY FOUL after landing on the shores, but play by the rules of the country they have embraced and contribute effectively into the society which gave them such opportunity and welcomed them.

    Shalom
    Kevin

Seems like a good idea, but the name disturbs me (smacks both of anarchy and religion). I am looking for a party that will entrench freedom of speech in the Constitution, but I don’t thiunk yours is it. But best wishes.

  14. 14 Bill trevillian

I agree 100% but what happens then if Pauline Hanson goes federal. I just don’t want to see the vote divided, Australia cannot afford that anymore.
