100 Christians gather to pray at Victorian ParliamentChristians on their knees in repentance to the LordDear family & friends in Christ in Australia and around the World,

Firstly, We want to praise and thank our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ for stopping the rain just in time in downtown Melbourne, so that we could have the prayer meeting on the steps of Parliament.

For those of you living out of Melbourne, there was heavy rain pouring down all night and early morning, but after we prayerfully asked our faithful Heavenly Father to stop the rain so that we could have the prayer meeting, He answered our prayers. Glory to God.

Around 100 Bible-believing God-fearing Christians from many churches, denominations & cultures dared the rain and gathered today Wednesday 12th January 2011 at midday at the Victorian Parliament steps in Melbourne to prayerfully repent and stand in the gap for our nation of Australia, particularly for the flood crisis in QLD and the fires in WA.

We thank and praise our prayer answering God that thousands more gathered around the country at the same time to bring our nation of Australia before the Lord’s heavenly throne of grace and mercy to seek Him to heal our land as in 2 Chronicles 7:13-14.

It was a very rare sight to witness around 100 Christians fall on their knees in repentance and prayer, kneeling right on the steps of the Victorian Parliament in full view of all the public in the city of Melbourne.

Everyone present were greatly blessed by the anointing of the Holy Spirit which was so powerfully present throughout the worship, repentance and prayer. Many Christian Pastors present took turns to pray as Pr Daniel led the meeting.

At the prayer gathering we were able to collect several thousand dollars for the flood victims which will be distributed through the Salvation Army. It was most encouraging to see complete strangers who were passing by also donating funds.

We thank God for sending many media personal to cover this prayer gathering, including Channel 7, 9, 10, The Age Newspaper, The Australian and 3AW Talkback Radio.

Our sovereign God truly works in mysterious ways to draw all people to Himself, through His cross and into His Kingdom!

Tonight and tomorrow the prayer meeting will be carried throughout the nation and around the world through TV, Newspapers and Radio air waves to the highways and byways.

Watch out for TV news tonight on Channel 10 at 5pm and Channel 7 at 6pm.

We are trusting in God for a miracle, to see the flood and fire crisis come to an end within the next few days!

Pr Daniel stated, “I want to personally thank everyone who responded to the prayer call at such short notice of 24 hours. You standing in the gap will definitely move heaven and save our nation. Thank you so very much. I am sure we will see and hear the good news of answers to prayer soon. Keep standing and continue to pray for our nation.”

Didn’t God seek for 100 righteous men to repent on behalf of their nation once before?

    Dear Pastor Daniel and Jason,

I went to NSW Parliament House in Sydney to pray today along with 4 others. We also prayed from 12 – 1pm, repenting as in 2 Chron. 7:13,14 and praying for healing of our land, and reading out Scriptures. Thank you for your leadership in this. I know of others in NSW who were praying during that time too.

    Yours sincerely,

    Julie

    Dear Pastor;

I wandered on your site this morning after seeing the flood then googling Australia/Israel to see on my own what negative relationships or comment were made lately by Australian politicians. I read the information on your webpage about recent political comments. There is selective judgment going on in America also. I will keep your land in my prayers. I do not know if you have ever heard of PerryStone of Voice of Evangelism Ministries here in America, but that is where I became aware of selective judgment, Here is his website to share http://www.voe.org/ The Media center has a wonderful opportunity to continue learning from home with podcasts to download.

    Kindest Regards,

    Kathryn

Please could you send me appropriate prayers for our bush get-together for prayers?

That would be very much appreciated …..

Sending blessings and gratitude for your prayers for this country of ours, prayers that must be prayed if we are to remain the “lucky” country.

    Also in His Grip,

    Julie

    Dear Pastor Daniel

In relation to your previous email regarding Kevin Rudd’s request to Israel, as relevant as that is I believe there is more to it than those comments alone.

I do not believe the the Lord is happy that:”

the Great South Land of the Holy Spirit as a Prime Minister who, despite her Baptist upbringing, no longer believes in God and is liveing in the Loge in a defacto relaionship

the Federal and Territory Governments in Canberra both have Ministers of the Crown who are openly in same sex relationships and in the case of the ACT one of them is Minister For Education & Sport but of which have implications for the children of the Territory

That the Leader of the Party with the Balance of Power in the Senate is openly in a same sex relationship and activelt promote bringing same sex relationships to the same status of Legal marriage

so called anti-discrimination laws have been enacted to protect people in same relationships but do nothing to maintain the integrity of the beliefs of Gods fearing, Bible believing, practising Christians

it is common acceptable practice generally in Australian Society that people live together as husband and wife without being legal married.

    God bless

    Hi Pastor Danny

Thankyou for the warm welcome from your congregation for my Mother, siblings, friend and me at Church last Sunday. We very much enjoyed worshipping with you.

I spoke with you about the great news re Drue’s sister Derina who came for healing in October for cancer. At her next check up, there was no longer any sign of the cancer on her liver and her bone density had stabilised. Hallelujah. Our God is a great and generous miraaculous healing God. I look forward to hearing the news from her next visit.

Not sure if you have seen this website and prophesy. I hadn’t til today but Drue put me onto it.

The excerpt that interests me is New South Wales, Tasmania and Queensland in Australia will float in waters, Northern Territory must have a close eye on the Arafura Sea and the Indiana Ocean. Cyclones will be more frequent in East Australia but more devastating in the North. Luke 21:25 says, “On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea.”

New Zealand must get ready and call on the Lord while He can still hear. The sooner, the better. An major earthquake is around the corner.

Well there was that huge earthquake in Christchurch, it seems pretty spot on about New south Wales and more particularly Queensland, we are yet to see re Tasmania. … and the Arafura Sea …. well I live on an island in the Arafura sea and I pray that God will be merciful.

God’s richest blessings to you, your family and your congregation

    Fiona
