CTFM team with God\'s precious children at an orphanage in Sri LankaHundreds Worship Jesus at CTFM Revival in Sri LankaDear family and friends in Christ around the World,

We just don’t know where to start our report as the Spirit of the Lord has done so much through Pr Daniel and the CTFM team over the last two weeks in Sri Lanka and Indonesia!

The CTFM team was deeply touched and greatly blessed by the wonderful hospitality and love shown by the body of Christ in both nations. The Lord used Pas Daniel and the team powerfully through the anointing of the Holy Spirit to rise up the body of Christ in unity, prayer, revival and evangelistic mission!

In Sri Lanka a Buddhist country, hundreds gathered to hear the word of God at the revival meetings. Many Christians, including pastors, ministers, and leaders, were mightily challenged to rise up and win the nation for Jesus. Many described the revival meetings as a Holy Ghost explosion and it certainly was! Many people were healed, delivered and set free by the miracle working power of God!

It was so very encouraging to see Bro Vijaya Corea (a very well known media personality in Sri Lanka who was healed of cancer), Rev Asiri Perera (Chairman of the Methodist churches of Sri Lanka), Rev Lakshman Peries (a leading Anglican Minister) join up with many Pentecostal Pastors on stage to stand hand in hand to see Sri Lanka transformed for Jesus. The worship on all 3 nights was absolutely awesome as the people soaked in the mighty presence of God. Pastor Daniel’s daughter Shannen who went with the CTFM team, also led worship at the revival meetings.

The CTFM team also visited the children’s orphanage in the east of Sri Lanka (which is fully supported and funded by CTFM Australia). Seeing the beautiful Christian children who were once Buddhist or Hindu, now worship and dance for Jesus brought great joy to our hearts. The children were so grateful to the people of Australia for looking after them. Many of them shared their testimonies of how they came to the orphanage and then accepted Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. Some could not complete their testimonies, as they started weeping, remembering how they had lost their parents.

The CTFM team was able to sing, dance, play games and minister the love of God to them. We are also very happy to announce that we are now planning on building a new boy’s home for the children. Some of the CTFM team who went on the trip have pledged to donate a part of the $ 14,000 needed to complete this project.

One of the greatest highlights was the visit to the Buddhist temple. Here the team met the chief Buddhist priest and prayed with him.  He was the one whom Pastor Daniel made friends with in 2005 when the CTFM team toured Sri Lanka after the Tsunami taking much needed relief supplies.

When the team was about to leave the temple, Pastor Daniel followed a prompting of the Holy Spirit which resulted in the Buddhist priest accepting Jesus as his Lord and Saviour right in the middle of the temple grounds! What a mighty God we serve!

Another mighty miracle was when the driver of the vehicle who was Buddhist accepting the Lord Jesus into his life. Many lives were mightily touched by the presence of God through this trip to Sri Lanka.

Pastor Daniel stated, “words are not adequate to describe what God did in Sri Lanka. There is certainly an open door right now. God willing, we are planning to go back to Sri Lanka next year.”

Stay tuned tomorrow for an exciting report of what the Spirit of the Lord did in Indonesia!

    Hi Jason

That’s a fantastic testimony. It is so great to read, and so near my heart. I have a 12 Y-O Sri Lankan violin student who has become a Christian since becoming my student. She and her family have come out of Buddhism and now go to Perth Christian Life Centre. Prior to this, every week she was wearing string tied to her wrist by her then Buddhist father. While she was wearing this Buddhist attachment she couldn’t play well – very tightly and insecurely. God asked me to tell her to take it off. After that she played freely and beautifully, made her decision for Christ and was given a powerful gift of healing.

Jason – at long last, my wrist has been healed. A surgeon wanted to break my arm, remove some bone, pull it up from my wrist and join it together with a cap. However, Jesus did the surgery. My anaesthetic was made of patience, the healing came by increasing my medication – namely praying more and having people like you praying for me, and the finally trusting more, and breaking through.

    Love from Dot.
