Baby in The WombDear family and friends in Christ,

Following is some very sad and shocking information, including a video link to late-term abortions, that Pr Daniel received today and wanted me to pass it onto you.

According to our understanding the 52 babies who survived late-term abortions in Victoria, Australia as recorded in 2007 were simply left to die.

Please pray and act in any way possible by contacting your local MP or writing a letter.

Also in Victoria you can vote for Pro-Life MPs in this upcoming State Election in November 2010.  We will send you the details in the next few weeks.

Rising Up Australia and the Nations as His Kingdom Comes,  Jason Golden

Dear Pastor Nalliah,

The link to the YouTube clip on late-term abortions that I told you about is:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6AeFdCG4gEg.

Please forward this link to others too so they know how much the number of late-term abortions has escalated since the passing of the Abortion Law Reform Act.

The figure of 52 babies born alive (and subsequently dying) after late-term abortions is recorded in the 2007 annual report of the Consultative Council on Obstetric and Paediatric Mortality and Morbidity released by the Victorian government in May this year.  You can downlod the report from www.health.vic.gov.au/ccopmm/. An article in the Herald Sun on Thursday, 20 May, 2010 reported the number of late-term abortions, and the reasons for them, and that 54 (sic – the number in the report is 52) babies survived such abortions.

The link to that article is http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/national/healthy-babies-aborted/story-e6frf7l6-1225868918358. Please let people know this is happening – it’s real.

In June this year Peter Kavanagh, DLP member of the Legislative Council in Victoria, raised the fate of these babies born alive after abortions and asked for an inquiry into what happened to them – were they rendered medical assistance? The motion was lost. The ALP did not allow a conscience vote on it.

This sort of issue needs to be raised with the media, / TV stations / news / etc, so that it gets maximum publicity.

Politicians will want to sweep it under the carpet as being “too touchy” for them, -as did the ALP in Victoris apparantly.

A major issue like this could be a catalyst which pro-life needs to get the media-attention it deserves.

It needs an organisation like yours to get the ball rolling!

    Praying,

    Nick

Dear Ps Daniel and the CTF team,

Thanks for letting the world know about the horrors of abortion.

We all know that if an adult person clubbed and hacked and burned with chemical solutions and sucked out the brains of a live human baby who was outside of the womb it would be considered murder at it’s most brutal. The world would reel back in horror, and the uproar of protest would be deafening. Yet if the same behaviour occurs to an unanaesthetised live baby WITHIN a mother’s womb it is considered as fair and lawful, and even as ‘good for the mother’.

What does this say about our society’s respect for the bodies -and wombs- of women? In God’s eyes, a woman’s womb is a holy place, where only a loving husband may enter. It is the spiritual equivalent of the inner sanctum, a sacred place of the deepest intimacy. The ‘waiting womb’ is also amazingly designed to be the safest place for the most vulnerable of all human life, our unborn baby. Life is precious in God’s eyes so it is only fitting that new life is housed in the holiest and purest and most perfect of places. That such a place may be violated to destroy that new life is an abomination in the eyes of our Creator God. We need only think of Jesus’ outraged reaction to the gamblers inside the Temple to get a glimpse of God’s heart towards abortive acts against the fruit of womens’ wombs.

Here in the 21st century, we can no longer pretend that we don’t know what the content of a pregnant woman’s womb holds. Due to advances in medical science, we KNOW an unborn baby is far more than ‘just a cluster of cells’, as abortionists and politicians and feminists and the sexually irresponsible continue to ignorantly assert. A human baby in the womb undergoes MORE development (ie growth, life) than human beings do at any other stage during the course of human development. To say that a human baby is ‘just a cluster of cells’ is to say we are all ‘just a cluster of cells’.

A pregnant woman houses a living human baby, just as a pregnant cow houses a living baby cow and a pregnant dog houses a living baby dog (a puppy). Sadly, it seems there is likely to be more public outcry if a person tried to brutally destroy the living contents of the wombs of a cow or dog than there currently is about abortive acts in the wombs of human mothers.

The difference is that we have convinced ourselves, even the Christians amongst us, that human abortion is good for the mother, and therefore she willingly surrenders to the process. Ironically, we all easily recognise that the sudden violation of the babies within the wombs of a pregnant cow or dog would cause significant psychological harm to any mother cow or dog. But in the case of human mothers (and fathers, and grandparents, and siblings), we conveniently turn a blind eye to the harm caused to all involved. Having our government’s stamp of approval and the active involvement of an authorised health ‘professional’ legitimizes the process -legally, socially and morally. The cultural prescription of abortion makes a woman assume that “this must be good for me”, for surely no civilized government would actively encourage it’s own female citizens to submit to a procedure that wasn’t good for her, let alone harmful, immoral or evil? Wouldn’t it? Isn’t that the creed of Western medicine: to “first do no harm”.

A famous American politician, Al Gore, once said words to the effect that “human beings get themselves into terrible trouble when what they believe to be true just ain’t so”. When it comes to thinking that abortion is ‘good’ for women, that it doesn’t hurt the baby, that the baby isn’t yet ‘really human’ or alive….well sadly, it just ain’t so.

And Jesus prayed “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” (Luke 23: 34). Thank the Lord that His compassion, grace and forgiveness extends even to behaviour such as this. May we, like the adulterous woman (who also failed to recognise and respect the sacredness of her own womb), also heed Jesus who did not condemn her but instead implored her to “go..and from now on sin no more” (John 8: 11).

    Love and blessings,
    Dr Glenda

There is also an organisation in the USA called “Operation Save America”. They have produced a brochure showing a graphic photo of a baby boy who suffered an abortion in the early 1990’s. The woman who found him ,names him “Malachi”, taken from the Old Testament prophet – meaning “messenger”.

I have downloaded the link below showing the brochure from this organisation’s website. It tells the upsetting account of what happened after some Christians visited an abortion clinic in Texas. Page 2 shows the photo image of “Malachi” which is HORRIFIC and deeply disturbing.

Wake up Victoria, Australia, USA, UK, China and the World. Abortion is a human rights and criminal issue, whether the child is a foetus or baby, it is still a life. Cruelty and murder in the convenient name of “abortion” is inhumane.

Married couples are queueing to have babies by adoption, but abortion is killing the opportunity for a baby to live and be loved.

Please pass this onto others for prayer and right action. Send it to MP’s and also Tony Abbott & Julia Gillard (both support abortion).

WARNING: Graphic image & details shown. LINK : http://www.operationsaveamerica.org/cms/assets/brochures/Malachi-1.pdf

    Act now.

Dear Jason, Thanks for all these emails. It certainly is so sad that we in this country allow abortions to continue to take place. If a whale looks like being stranded on the beach we do all we can to save it and yet we don’t care about a human embrypo. Love and prayers. Audrey & Maurice
