Catch The Fire Ministries has Changed it's Name

Catch The Fire Ministries Inc. has changed its name to Reformation Harvest Fire, and moving forward, you will see references to this name. We aim to complete this name change as soon as feasible and by 30 June 2020 at the very latest.

The Nalliah FamilyDear Fathers,
I take this opportunity to Thank and Salute all Fathers around the world. You guys are just amazing!  Keep standing up for Jesus, fight for your families and the nation. Remember you are the head of the house, you are a Priest and Shepherd.
A Godly Father is a Man of Prayer
A Godly Father is kind, loving, compassionate, a good provider, honest, hardworking, generous, forgiving, humble, faithful and reliable towards his wife and children.  He fears God and is obedient to His Word.

A Father cannot fully love his children and fulfill his role as a parent without having the knowledge and love of God, because Since God is the perfect Father, one of the most important things we can do is get to know God better and seek him.

A Godly Father will keep Jesus Christ as the centre of his marriage and family. A Godly Father must be the right example for his children and obedient towards God and his family members. A Godly Father should demonstrate faithfulness, responsibility, caring, graciousness, generosity, keeping promises, displaying good character ,knowing interests of the family and controlling his temper, instructing and guiding his children in the ways and words of the Lord for their own spiritual development and well-being and will lead his family to church, Bible study, devotional time, prayer , other spiritual activities ,  have Godly determination to preserve his family and keeping them from all evil, temptation, lust, and unbelievers.(2 Timothy2:16)

My son, if sinners entice you, do not consent.” Proverbs 1:10

Do not enter the path of the wicked, and do not walk in the way of evil. Avoid it, do not travel on it, turn away from it and pass on.” Proverbs 4:14

For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power.  From such people turn away!

“…all who desire to live Godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution, but evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived, but you must continue in the things which you have learned…” 2 Timothy 3:1-14

“For you know that we dealt with each of you as a father deals with his own children, encouraging, comforting and urging you to live lives worthy of God, who calls you into His kingdom and glory” (1 Thessalonians 2:11,12). A Godly father goes to God often on behalf of his family, asking for wisdom and courage for himself, and protection for his wife and children, Job 1:5 tells us that Job rose early in the morning and made a sacrifice for his children. Fathers should demonstrate love for the mother of his children.

1 Peter 3:7 says a father needs to understand his wife, becomes the role model of a loving, nurturing person living in loving relations.

F – Faith is necessary for a man to fulfill his responsibilities to his God, family, neighbors, and friends
A – Action is necessary in being a good Christian and father.
T – Teaching others by word and example
H – Holy in conduct and attitude.
E – Encouragement is part of being a father.
R –Reverence towards God.

We need to remember that if any one says ‘I know Him,’ and does not keep His commandments, he is a liar, and the truth is not in him, but whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him.”

A Godly Father will honor his marriage vows because he respects God’s commandment, He loves his wife and is not bitter against her.  He will honor his wife as the weaker vessel, be there for his children, provide for his family, and be a good spiritual leader. (1 Peter 3.7; 1 Timothy 5.8; Matthew 22.39).  But it all starts with his commitment and love for God. “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with your entire mind” (Matthew 22.37).

A Godly father has a good reputation.  Proverbs 22:1 -  A good name is more desirable than great riches; to be esteemed, is better than silver or gold. In Deut 6, God says through Moses: “These commandments I give you this day are to be upon your hearts, and you shall teach them diligently to your children” at all times.

A Godly father will not think according to worldly way.  He avoids anything that would pollute the home like smoking, drinking, drugs, sexual immorality, ungodly people, bad television programs which are based on immorality, violence etc., being workaholic. He will see to it that his family members are clothed with humility, pure, righteous and holy.
By working day and night men cannot give diligent attention to more important matters such as God and his family because the workaholic Father pursues his career at the expense of his family and he selfishly ignores his wife and children in many ways. In psalm 121, Solomon begins by telling us that unless God builds our house; our efforts in building it are vain. God is concerned with how high a priority we place on our houses and family.

The best way to raise Godly children is by parents being Godly and setting and living as a Godly example .  Some of the Biblical Godly Fathers are Noah, Abraham, Job, Joseph, Jacob, Jephthah, Aaron etc.  As parents, we need to teach our children to seek Godly character for themselves, and in those with whom they would associate, along with loving God and being an example by committing ourselves to His commands.  We need to “Repeat them again and again to our children, talk about them when we are at home and when we are away on a journey, when we are lying down and when we are getting up again. Tie them to our hands as a reminder, and wear them on our forehead. Write them on the doorposts of our house and on our gates” (Deuteronomy 6:7-9).

Here is what Bible tells on Godliness:

For physical training is of some value, but Godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come. 1 Timothy 4:8

But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, Godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness. 1 Timothy 6:11

Love You Guys Heaps. We are not perfect, but mate we will get there by God’s grace.

Just a short note to thank you for the latest newsletter concerning Fathers.

Even though we as Fathers know these things that you have mentioned, it is always encouraging to read all these things again.

It is so important. And to top off your letter, Men need to be Real Men and stand up for what is morally, ethically, and Spiritually correct. (And don’t dress up like a “She-Male”. I see this so much within the Christian community with the skin tight jeans and hair product in their hair and the feminism that their body conduct displays)

Dear Pastor Danny and CTF team,

We thank you for your faithfulness and wisdom of many years. Your regular emails, actions and reports have blessed us and our nation of Australia.

But I have a question or two for you on the bible you appear to use.

Can I ask why you use the NIV or a similar bible version? The following extracts (below) from your Father’s day message are an example. The NIV(?) you quote from is quite different from the KJV.

For physical training is of some value (KJV :”bodily exercise profiteth little…”), but Godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come. 1 Timothy 4:8

But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, Godliness, faith, love, endurance (“patience” in KJV) and gentleness. 1 Timothy 6:11

See also these verses to indicate some key differences in the bible versions from the KJV:

Dan 3:25, Matt 17:21 and 18:11, Luke 11:2-4, John 3:16, Acts 8:37, Rev 22:14, Luke 4:4 and numerous others. These verses indicate that all bibles are NOT the same. Which is true? Which is the infallible preserved word of God? Ps 12:6-7.

If you are interested about this I would welcome an opportunity to discuss this issue with you and or your team members. Or I can send you some brief and succinct reference material or www links. (such as: )

I am in Adelaide but would willingly come to Melbourne or wherever to meet with you. We currently attend a local AOG church.

    God’s Blessings

Hi Friends & thanks for your encouragement! I just finished my time with the Lord when He gave me a word…..Tenacity! I felt that this is what we are needing in this season & I read in my Utmost for His Highest this absolutly spot-on message including the one of the scriptures He gave me for the Election which is Psalm 46:10, Be still & know that I AM GOD!

THE DISCIPLINE OF SPIRITUAL TENACITY. ( wow, its a discipline)

Tenacity is more than endurance, it is endurance combined with the ‘ ‘absolute certainty’ that what you are looking for IS going to transpire! Tenacity is more than hanging on, which may be but the weakness of being too afraid to fall off. Tenacity is the supreme effort of a man/woman refusing to believe that his/her Hero is going to be conquored. The greatest fear a man/woman has is not that he/she will be damned, but that Jesus Christ will be worsted, that the things HE stood for—-love & justice, forgiveness & kindness among men-will not win out in the end; the things He stands for will look like will-o’-the wisps.
THEN comes the call to spiritual tenacity, NOT to hang on & do nothing, but to work deliberately on the certainty that GOD is NOT going to be worsted.
If our hopes are being disappointed just now, it means that they are being purified. There is nothing noble the human mind has ever hoped for or dreamed of that will NOT be fulfilled! One of the greatest strains in life is the strain of waiting for GOD! “Because thou hast kept the word of my patience”…..Rev. 3:10a & Glory to God read verses 7&8! He gave us a door to shut & another to open to Righteousness!

Isn’t the Word of God great! Don’t you just love to hear & send His Rhema to encourage others. I do! This is a wonderful word. Be encouraged & don’t be weary in well doing because in season you will reap the reward. By the way, please forgive my typing & scriptural errors in my haste. I know that you know the word! Bless you & enjoy a Great Father’s Day with DAD!

How powerful. keep up the good work.

Thank you so much for this treasure, Danny. It is being shared with many! What an amazing impact it would make on our whole nation if fathers honoured God and families honoured fathers.

    With heartfelt thanks and blessings,
