The Sunday Mail (Qld) – July 11, 2010

EVERY Australian school student would be taught positive things about Islam and Muslims and that Australia was a racist country, under a plan being proposed by an education think tank.

The plan is outlined in a booklet Learning From One Another: Bringing Muslim Perspectives into Australian Schools published this week by the Australian Curriculum Studies Association and The University of Melbourne’s Centre for Excellence in Islamic Studies.

It says there is a “degree of prejudice and ignorance about Islam and Muslims” and Australian students must be taught to embrace difference and diversity.

The booklet refers to al-Qa’ida as “a famous name” synonymous with the traditionalist movement in Islam, with no reference to terrorism.

Its authors are offering free seminars to teachers.

    Shalom,

The forces of evil never rest, neither must we. The positive about islam would be to tell the truth for a change. We need to be ever vigilant against all evil no matter how it comes dressed.

Islam will be the first enemy we have ever pandered to and aided and abetted. Right around the world islam is infiltrating western countries and is actively undermining our way of life and wants to totally control the world, which means death or dhimmitude to Christians and all other infidels, that is you and me and every other Australian.

We need to pray like we have never prayed before. We have the power let us use it to the max, Jesus is Lord and satan is continuing his dirty tricks.

    Australia for Jesus,

    Trevor

    Dear Jason,

This is rather sad. I wonder whether any mention will be made about that poor woman in Iran who they were talking about stoning because she was supposed to have an adulterous relationship with a man. Of course nothing is said about the man. I think it would be wonderful if mention was made about the attitude to Christians to Muslims and also their attitude to us.

    Love and prayers.

While conceding that we do not want Islam taught in schools we must also concede that there is already about 200,000 in the country therefore it would be wise to advise them of how Julia Gillard stands for everything that is against every religion that believes in God. I know their god is different but they still do not approve of abortion or gay marriages and a few other things we have in common.

If you want to do something about the situation as well as prayer then write to the Australian Council of Churches and recommend they advise all their members to vote Liberal as they are maintaining a Christian stance on law and order not to mention not allowing Islam to be taught in schools.

To stop the Labor Party returning to office at a state/federal level will go a long way to answering your prayers. You will achieve two things at once. To just do it in a private way, that is during church assemblies is also the way to go.

Why should our school kids be force fed Islamist propaganda? http://www.billmuehlenberg.com/2010/07/12/islamist-indoctrination-in-our-schools/

We really need to cut the head off this snake once and for all. Our kids are being used as social engineering guinea pigs by both Islamists and the far left. I blame leftists above all, as it is they, who are the Trojan Horse in our society. THEY, are the bleeding hearts opening up the way for illegal migration, and it is THEY, who are the weakness in our armour.

The fact is, and most experts agree, that “multi-culturalism” is a failed experiment. Multi-ethnic societies can certainly function, as long as “differences” are based on things we have no control over, e.g. race, and or colour. Differences in values, ideology, religion and the like, should only be tolerated IF the don’t encroach on our civil liberties, and on ALL those things we, as Australians and/or adopted Aussies, treasure.

There is no doubt that if we are to preserve all the things we love about this wonderful nation of Australia, we must share common values, and religion, fortunately or unfortunately, is an area that demands debate, and often, criticism. If Islam cannot face it’s demons and open itself up for analysis and debate, then it does not belong in any society where free speach exists.

Will the curriculum also cite the sections of the Koran (Quran) which requires that non-Muslims be put to death.??
Muslims have no allegiance to the country in which they live. Total allegiance to Islam is required.

I hope you’re already onto this one:

As a teacher, and a Christian, I would love to take part in their seminar and try to stop their plans going ahead!
