Pastor Danny NalliahDear family & friends in Christ,

The body of Christ and our nation of Australia are at a very critical point in time.

We are facing a pivotal crossroad that will determine our corporate destiny of either exalting God’s righteousness and receiving His favour, or exalting unrighteousness (sin) and receiving His righteous judgment.

In the Church throughout our nation, the sheep desperately need their shepherds to lead from the front, under the authority and direction of the Chief Shepherd Himself, our Lord Jesus Christ. God by His amazing grace has given the Church another prophetic opportunity to see our nation of Australia come back to Jesus through either blessing or persecution. Which do you choose??

In the 2007 Federal Election many were confused as to whether Kevin Rudd was a true Christian or not, but I’m sure time has proven as to what sort of a Christian he was. Firstly, before the election when he refused to directly answer the question by a spectator at the footy finals, “Is Jesus the Son of God?” He replied, “I go to church on Sunday.”

Then at his very last speech in Parliament as PM, he stated in his closing statement, “I better thank the great God and creator of us all, I thank him – or her – as well.” See http://www.theaustralian.com.au/full-transcript-of-kevin-rudds-farewell-speech/story-fn5vfgwx-1225883796571

How can Mr Rudd not realise that the Lord’s prayer starts with “Our Father who art in heaven” when they pray it every day in Parliament? Or was he actually mocking almighty God, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit??  You be the judge.Several years ago I sent out a word from the Lord calling on the body of Christ in Australia to PRAY & ACT IN UNITY at the 2007 election. Many verbally attacked me saying we prayed, but your prophetic word did not come to pass. Yes, it is true that many prayed, but the main question is, “DID YOU PRAY & ACT IN UNITY WITH THE REST OF THE BODY OF CHRIST??”

See http://catchthefire.com.au/blog/2007/11/29/election-2007-did-i-get-it-wrong/

According to the Word of God, when Nehemiah heard that the walls of Jerusalem were broken down, he started to fast and pray. Then God spoke to him to rebuild the walls which he obediently did and in spite of much opposition.

Esther called the Israelites (God’s people) to fast and pray for 3 days. Then she acted in obedience to what God told her to do by going before the king even though she could have lost her life. The end result was that the Jews (God’s people) were saved from destruction.

If we as church leaders had collectively heard from the Lord and acted in corporate obedience to His prophetic word, we would have definitely told His people not to vote for Mr Rudd.  Furthermore, it is definitely not God’s perfect will to have an atheist now as PM.  What do you think??

When the rubber hits the road, are we as Christian leaders willing to take the challenge to guide the Lord’s flock with the spiritual discernment, biblical boldness and righteous leadership of the Holy Spirit of God? Or are we too scared to boldly and fearlessly speak out the truth with love, as it could cost us a part of our congregation and government aid such as Aus study, etc??? Why is it that the many shepherds (Christian pastors, ministers, leaders) are not willing to rightly guide the Lord’s sheep, particularly when it comes to politics. I think we all agree that sheep need much help all the time. That’s why our Heavenly Father calls His children, sheep, and His Son the Lord Jesus Christ, the Chief Shepherd.  Our Heavenly Father knows that we all need to be constantly guided in the right way.

Now, we who are called by God to be shepherds (Christian pastors, ministers, and leaders) have a golden opportunity to lead His sheep in the Church in Australia in the right way regarding the upcoming Federal Election on 21st August 2010.  The choice is very clear as our current PM Julia Gillard has openly declared that she is an Atheist, pro-abortion, living in a de-facto relationship, and will not take an oath on the Bible, the Word of God.

On the other hand, Tony Abbott clearly believes in the Christian God, is pro-life, believes the Bible is the word of God and is happily married with 3 children.

WILL GOD’S SHEPHERDS CLEARLY BLOW THE LORD’S TRUMPET FROM THE PULPITS OVER THE NEXT FEW WEEKS STATING, “DO NOT VOTE FOR AN UNGODLY LEADER, JULIA GILLARD AS PM”?
Or would we compromise the word of God as Pastor Joel Osteen in the USA did recently on Larry King’s Talk Show. When asked the question by Larry King, “whether Jesus was the only way to heaven’” Joel Osteen responded by saying, “There are other ways too and that it was not fair for him to say that Jesus is the only way.”  Click the following links to watch for yourself.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KwL1DThtxYg&NR=1

Sorry Pastor Joel Osteen, but if the Bible is the absolute truth, then Jesus is the only way to heaven. Although Pastor Joel  has a very large church of over 60,000 people, he had no guts to declare the plain truth on TV to millions of people who are desperately looking for the only Way, Truth, and Life, Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour!  Tragically, hundreds of thousands and perhaps millions of Christians are simply misled by wrong teachings to keep them happy, not preparing them for the rapture, the 2nd coming and final judgment of Jesus Christ!

I was so blessed to recently hear that a Catholic Priest in Melbourne spoke out so clearly to his congregation from the pulpit stating, “Do not vote for Julia Gillard as she is an Atheist and is living in a de-facto relationship.”

God speaks very strongly in His Word about His shepherds who mislead His people.
“His watchmen [are] blind: they are all ignorant, they [are] all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber. Yea, [they are] greedy dogs [which] can never have enough, and they [are] shepherds [that] cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter. Come ye, [say they], I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and tomorrow shall be as this day, [and] much more abundant.” Isaiah 56:10-12
1“Woe to the shepherds who destroy and scatter the sheep of My pasture!” says the LORD. 2 Therefore thus says the LORD God of Israel against the shepherds who feed My people: “You have scattered My flock, driven them away, and not attended to them. Behold, I will attend to you for the evil of your doings,” says the LORD. 3 “But I will gather the remnant of My flock out of all countries where I have driven them, and bring them back to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase. 4 I will set up shepherds over them who will feed them; and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, nor shall they be lacking,” says the LORD.” Jeremiah 23:1-4

28 “Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.” Acts 20:28

I humbly challenge you to speak to your pastor or leader and ask them to encourage their congregation or ministry network as to who to vote for this election.

I pray that we Pastors, Ministry leaders and Christian Ministers will stand up and make a clear sound over the next few weeks as we have much to lose or gain from this election. The decisions we make will determine the destiny of our nation, exalting God’s righteousness and receiving His favour, or exalting unrighteousness (sin) and receiving His righteous judgment. The elected government will either help us posses the land for Jesus or lead us further away from our Judeo-Christian heritage and prophetic destiny in this Great South Land of the Holy Spirit!

Your Brother in Christ and Fellow Shepherd,

Pr Daniel Nalliah

    Dear Pastor Danny and PastorJason

Thanks for your continuing updates re Julia Gillard and Tony Abbot which I agree with 100% but can you please also ask everyone to vote for Paul Green CDP for Senate (Libs 2nd pref) as he may well be the only true Christian in a Senate where the Greens are threatening to hold the balance of power and Lee Rhiannon (a third generation communist) may get the Green seat. I have been finding that many Christians still seemed to be confused about who to vote for.

    Yours sincerely in Christ

    Dear Pastor Daniel,

After I read your email, I felt the Lord speaking to me to fast like Esther so I sent this email below to all Transforming Sydney members to fast three days before the Election.

God bless you, you are an inspiration for us all
    Lilian

Esther called the Israelites (God’s people) to fast and pray for 3 days. I am calling everyone to fast three days before the Election, let’s fast on the 19th, 20th and 21st of August 2010.

if you can’t fast for three days, I urge you to seek God and try to find a way to do so.

    God bless

    Thank you Danny!

I was only yesterday discussing these sentiments with my husband & Home Group leader & that if the Shepherd is not willing to lead & protect the flock what is the point of attending that church. We are told to trust & respect his guidance & decisions as from God! I don’t think the shaking will be in the political areana alone! My thoughts of late is ‘What does God think of churches that teach & believe the Replacement Theology about His chosen people’? What kind of spirit is behind this teaching & does God require a repentance from His people? Couldn’t this influence His response to ourprayers? I
    welcome your feedback if possible.

    Blessings,

    Hazel

Thank you for reminding us to take a stand ,and declare that Jesus is the only way ,and there is no other way to the Father.
The Church is in a sad state of compromising the truth of the Gospel ,and the result is that it has lost its way. We as believers must make a stand, and vote that this government is not returned to power.

Thank you again and may God grant you wisdom.

    Hi Pastor Dan

I hear you and I thank God for your convictions and boldness for HIM alone. God certainly calls us to stand up for His Kingdom and His righteousness and it does sadden me that those appointed leaders both overseas and here in Sri Lanka are compromising this under many pretenses (including “you should bear testimony” of we shouldn’t spoil our witness”).

In fact, I was grinning when I read your words as this is no co-incidence that I’m on your mailing list! When I wrote my name on the list, I did wonder why I did that. Can you believe what my topic for my thesis is??? And interestingly whenever I sit to work on it, i have had obstacles to face. It has dragged on for so long (many years in fact) and it’s frustrating as I’m one who had finished all my modules in a timely manner with no delays on submitting all my coursework! I’m praying that I will be able to finish it while away in Australia. The topic is none other than “Biblical Authority in the lives of Family and Churches in Urban Sri Lanka”. The focus is on Husband-Wife, Parent-Child and Leader-Member although I may have to cut that down to word limitiation. The ‘shepherd’ concept is what I have focused on in the Leader Member section doing exegesis primarily on Ezekiel 34. (Jeremiah 23:1-4 echoes the same concepts). Every time I pray for our Christian leaders here in Sri Lanka, I feel God burdening me with this chapter and thus I believe my thesis is indeed a prophetic word unto the nation. Our college has volunteered to get it published internationally once completed. I will translate it into Tamil and get it done in Sinhala too.

May God bless you and exalt you as you stand up boldy for His Name and as you are obedient to His voice telling you not to look to man nor reputation.

    God bless

    Priya

    Hi Danny,

I hear what you are saying and I will be praying and fasting for this
election. I agree we need to vote for Tony Abbot this year.

I’m concerned that many women will vote for Julia Gillard simply
because she is a female. I hope they also look at her character and
not just her words when deciding who to vote for.

However, I also believe that, collectively, Australians have a
tendency to pull down those in leadership over our nation by
criticising them. This is what happened to Kevin Rudd.

I think there are many positive things that could be said about
our leaders and it is unbalanced to only focus on the negatives.

Choosing not to speak well of our leaders is an insult to God.

    ACTS 23:5 NLT
5 “I’m sorry, brothers. I didn’t realize he was the high
priest,” Paul replied, “for the Scriptures say, ‘You must not
speak evil of any of your rulers.'”

A major, yet often unrecognized, problem is members of the Body
of Christ using their words to curse leaders. (It is not
necessary to use profanity to curse. Any time anyone speaks
badly of someone the Bible calls it a curse. Jesus cursed the
fig tree by simply saying no one would ever eat fruit from it.)

Don’t fall into the devil’s trap. Christians have been
delegated authority on Earth by Jesus Christ. When we speak bad
things about people we are abusing that authority which was
given to us to bless, and not to curse.

    ROMANS 12:14 NLT
14 Bless those who persecute you. Don’t curse them; pray that
    God will bless them.

The world tries to get us to focus on the shortcomings,
weaknesses, and failures of our leaders. Admittedly, all
leaders are human. Not one of them can be expected to be
perfect. This is why it’s important for us to pray for them,
and not to joke about them, or say anything bad about them.

    1 TIMOTHY 2:1-2 NLT
1 I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to
help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them.
2 Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that
we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and
    dignity.

Think about this: you cannot pray in faith for a leader and
also talk badly about them. Such negative speaking would negate
    your prayer.

The leaders when the New Testament was written were certainly
not perfect. Yet the New Testament never encourages any
disrespect to those in positions of authority.

    ROMANS 13:1 ESV
1 Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For
there is no authority except from God, and those that exist
    have been instituted by God.

The spirit of the age is to mock, belittle, and criticize
everyone, but especially those in authority. We must guard
against this trap of our enemy and speak well of Julia Gillard.

You don’t have to lie. You don’t have to vote for her. However,
it is better to say nothing than to say bad things about her.

SAY THIS: “I will not speak badly of others, especially our
Prime Minister, Julia Gillard, during this election.”

When we begin to honour those in authority, and stop pulling
them down, a shift will take place in the heavens and our
    nation will be blessed.

    Deuteronomy 5:16
“Honor your father and your mother, as the LORD your God has commanded you, so that you may live long and that it may go well with you in the land the LORD your God is giving you.

    Matthew 19:19
Jesus replied, ” ‘Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not give false testimony, honor your father and mother,’ and ‘love your neighbor as yourself.’ “

Thank you again for being direct, going direct to where the people can hear you. If each minister leader would speak out there would not be so much confusion from the public. Christians have become such New Age compromisers; sorry not become – have always been! When I was ministering as a new Christian at the Body Mind and Spirit fesitival many years ago it was alarming to note that many Christians came because they said they were curious and thought they could learn something.

I challenged their lack of loyalty and faith but sadly they did not get it perhaps because they had wishy washy christianity preached to them; I really don’t know why we are such laid back as Aussies; fear of reprisals maybe – I pray that the Lord will continue to guide you in wisdom

Also I know you have not long returned from your trip but was wondering if my credential application had been passed on.
    May God bless you

Thankyou Danny for giving the trumpet a definate blow!!! We have already spoken to our church here in regards to the elections and even from our small congregation recieved the usual garbage about upsetting people when they think we are trying to tell them how to vote. We actually didn’t, we just stated that our vote needs to be for those that have Godly qualifications not athiests! We didn’t even use names but the contrast is obvious!!! Our local Liberal candidate is active in his church and is very thankful for our prayer support.

Beware of false teachers in these last days.

BY THEIR FRUITS WE SHALL KNOW THEM.

Let’s proclaim Absolute Truth coz half truth is a lie.

The devil is a liar and is the Father of lies.

LET THE TRUE CHILDREN OF GOD RISE UP

Creation is waiting for the revelation of the sons of God (Romans 8:19)

We who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God(Romans 8:14)

And because we are sons, God sent forth the Spirit of His Son into our hearts crying Abba , Father.

THEREFORE as sons and daughters let us proclaim Absolute Truth, the declaration of His more sure Word(2Peter1:19) to set people free.

MAY OUR TRIBE INCREASE TO SHINE AS A CITY ON A HILL FOR THE GLORY OF GOD!

    In the Master’s service,

    Pastor Mel

Hello. I see you are pro-life so I thought you might like to let your followers know about the website http://www.lifevote.org.au. It is apolitical website which lets people know how the upper and lower house politicians in Victoria voted on the Abortion Law Reform Bill 2008. It is now legal to kill even full term unborn babies and we need to vote out the pro abortion politicians and put in pro life politicians.

The site also suggests ways people can help their pro life political candidates.

Ps the Democratic Labor Party is 100% Pro life. Their candidates have to be 100% pro life to get elected. Labor and the Greens are committed to abortion on demand.

    Keep up the good work

    Patricia
