Denominational Leaders United in Prayer on StageDear Family and Friends in Christ,

The Australia Day United Prayer gathering was once again a resounding success with 1,500 Christians from many denominations, churches, and ethnicities all joining hearts and hands to worship the King of kings and the Lord of lords in a significantly placed central venue in Melbourne! Many travelled from NSW, SA, ACT, TAS, WA, QLD and from all across VIC to participate in this significant prayer celebration for our nation as the Lord was highly exalted above all!

The Crowd At Australia Day 2009The Melbourne Town Hall main auditorium soon became a sea of people as they streamed in to get a seat to be a part of this history making day.  The City of Melbourne was abuzz with tens of thousands of Aussies in the streets celebrating Australia Day through parades, dances, music and various events right across the City.  Glory to God, amongst all that was happening outside as a backdrop, 1,500 worshippers joined in one accord to cry unto the Lord for our nation’s spiritual revival and transformation!

VIPs - Denominational RepresentativesPastor Danny personally was so extremely thrilled to be sharing the stage with so many from across the Body of Christ (around 15 denominational leaders and representatives) – many commenting, “The unity demonstrated by the leaders and worshippers was absolutely wonderful!” welcoming such opportunities to express a united physical front. We also advanced the spiritual Kingdom of God in such a positive way, destroying strongholds of the enemy and seeing the City of Melbourne given into the rightful hands of our Lord Jesus Christ, Ruler of this City and Nation!

Many different aspects were covered in prayer, such as – Our Nation Australia, Armed Forces, Farming Community & for more rain fall, Government, Youth, Indigenous People, Media, Market Place, Unity in the Body of Christ, For Ministers of the Gospel etc.

Hundred’s of proud Aussies waved their Australian flags and with shouts declared, “Australia For Jesus!!”. The thundering sounds of the shofars echoed throughout the meeting while people shouted for joy and praised the Lord! It was good to see the expressions of passionate hearts declaring the word of the Lord and praying with such sincerity and joy. The Spirit of God gathered a passionate people who would glorify the Name above all names and who are not ashamed to honour Him above all!

The Crossway Baptist Church Worship Team lead the people into the awesome presence of God while Pastor Danny’s daughter Shannen,  started off the time of prayer for youth with a special song, “I Get On My Knees”. Many were in tears as this young woman sang from her heart and fell on her knees in worship.  This led into the time of praying for the youth and children, with more than 200 young people gathered at the altar as their Mums & Dads laid hands on them and together prayed for the next generation to rise up in the Kingdom, Power, and Glory of God!

Another highlight was when Pastor Danny was prompted by the Holy Spirit to invite the Indigenous people present up to the stage. Many of them had travelled from QLD, WA, NSW and country VIC –attending a prayer summit for our Nation before and after the Australia Day United Prayer Event.  As they came to the stage there was a great anointing released upon the meeting. All rose up and together declared that the Indigenous people of Australia will rise up into their God given destiny and take their rightful leadership in Australia as the original custodians of this Great South Land of the Holy Spirit!

Many of the indigenous people were in tears on stage as some even found it hard to stand as the anointing was so strong. Pastor Bunja, an Indigenous brother from Canberra, led the people in their own native tongue through the Lord’s Prayer. This was extremely special…

We thank God for the 100 or more Pastors/Ministers & spouses who were present at the meeting, and as they gathered at the front (some with families) with outstretched hands, all those present released a mighty prayer blessing upon them all!

Provision was made for the hearing impaired to attended the meeting and were blessed as the Deaf Interpreter did a great job for them.

Comments heard after the event: “We cannot wait for the next Australia Day prayer meeting! We wish there were many more such prayer meetings…”

Pastor Danny stated, “I thank God for Australia Day, as we Aussie Christians can come together at least once a year to demonstrate that we are One Body in Christ and that we belong to KOG (the Kingdom Of God).  I want to personally thank everyone for being a part of this day and making it a great success. Most of all I thank my Lord and Saviour for His Mighty Presence!”

Another major highlight of the event was the special message given by The Hon Peter Costello  (former Federal Treasurer). His message touched many hearts and many burst into spontaneous clapping and at the end of his message! It seemed everyone was up on their feet clapping and appreciating a great message based on Judeo-Christian values from a outstanding man and a politician who has been a  man of integrity, not ashamed to declare his faith in Christ publicly. This aspect of Peter’s message touched the hearts of many.

We have received emails from people wanting to know whether we managed to cover the cost of the prayer meeting. The answer is no, we still need around $ 10,000 to cover costs, so your help is greatly appreciated if you feel to respond.

The entire DVD ($20 including postage) of the Australia Day United Prayer Celebration will be available in the next several weeks by emailing or calling our office.

To all at catch the fire !!! How can we make this man and others like him aware of the threat we face today from that worst of all threats (islam) I firmly believe that Peter Costello is a very very smart and resourcefull man and must surely be acutely aware, yet where is his voice ? Where is his voice when it comes to the biggest threat our freedoms have faced to our heritage since the great wars ? Dose he understand that these freedoms are not ours to give away – they were fought for with the shed blood of our ancestors, and are to be handed on to our children and their children ( his children and grandchildren ) ! Can we get this letter to him in a form that will imprint itself in his mind ,for if we cannot achieve this very thing, then we are doomed as the threat to our children and grandchildren is snowballing every day ! – the brave Gert Wilders in Holland has now been silenced by Bracks style laws – when will it ever end ? Dear Pastor Jason

Thanks for this – it was truly an awesome day. Your prophecy above all other events was word for word what the Lord had laid on my heart including the Barukh Habab Hoshem Adonai(Blessed is the name of the Lord!) – pardon me for my mispronunciation. But He is truly great! He is coming very soon and call us ALL to repentence every nation tribe family and individual.

May your ministry break the walls of separation in Christianity – may Christian first become followers of Jesus!

    In Him

    Sis Christine

    Hi Jason
greetings from Adelaide, how are you guys going over there?
Thanks for forwarding Peter Costello’s speech. What a relief that a man
    in such
a prominent political position is uncompromising in his declaration of
    faith,
is not intimidated by political correctness and does not get fuzzy at
    the edges
to avoid offense. God Bless him.
It would have been wonderful to have been at the meeting.
Keep cool Jason. We’re melting over here, but as I woke this morning
    with the
heat already radiating into the hse from our brick walls I thought this
    is
    nothing like hell.
    Gob bless you guys.
    Beverley
