Catch The Fire Ministries has Changed it's Name

Catch The Fire Ministries Inc. has changed its name to Reformation Harvest Fire, and moving forward, you will see references to this name. We aim to complete this name change as soon as feasible and by 30 June 2020 at the very latest.

Dear Friends and Family in Christ,

We’re forwarding the following email to you from Salt Shakers for your prayerful action.

We at Catch the Fire Ministries are not in support of Interfaith.

We believe in the bold proclamation and clear distinction of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the Resurrected Son of God, as the Only Way, Only Truth, and the Only Life! (John 14:6)

Australia has a Christian heritage and prophetic destiny as the Great South Land of the Holy Spirit, not of any other spirit of compromise or deception!

Australia for Jesus! The Nations for Jesus!

Please pass on these details throughout your respected congregation, denomination, ministry, movement, and spheres of Kingdom influence!

Rising Up Australia and the Nations as His Kingdom Comes,

Interfaith Dialogue concerns – two incidents

Two incidents this week highlight the problems inherent in interfaith dialogue. A major problem is that when groups meet together on the basis of being ‘religious groups’ it becomes increasingly difficult to proclaim the truth of Christianity and the fact that Jesus is the only way to God.

REPORT: A more detailed report of both incidents, together with LINKS to media articles and other documents, is attached.

Interfaith dialogue in Rome

In Rome, Magdi Allam, a convert from Islam, has openly criticised Islam in an Open Letter to the Pope. He converted from Islam to Catholicism and was baptised by the Pope at Easter 2008.
Magdi said that that Islam is not an intrinsically good religion and that Islamic terrorism is not the result of a minority gone astray. Article attached.

The Vatican is holding the first meeting of the ‘Catholic-Muslim Forum’ on Nov 4-6. The letter was written to warn those participating in the meetings not to compromise their beliefs.

‘The Imam and the Pastor’ – Interfaith dialogue concerns in Australia

‘The Imam and the Pastor’ from Nigeria are currently touring Australia promoting ‘interfaith’ activities.
A report in The Age says “Now he has a message for fellow Pentecostals and other Christian fundamentalists who think their religious path is the only truth.”
Pastor Wuye said “There is more than one way to truth, and remember what Jesus said about loving their neighbours.”  [emphasis ours]

It is concerning that a Christian pastor makes this statement about ‘truth’. The Australian tour is organised by Initiatives of Change (formerly Moral Re-Armament and an ‘interfaith’ group) and is being supported by many Muslim groups, such as the Islamic Council of Victoria and the Australian Federation of Islamic Councils, clearly as a means of promoting Islam.
For the tour details and 10 minutes of the documentary about them, click here.

We are concerned that some of the meetings are being held in Christian churches and that the ‘Iman and the Pastor’ are speaking at a seminar associated with the National Prayer Breakfast to be held in Canberra next Monday 10 November.

This causes us grave concern. To hold a major Christian gathering, and have a Muslim imam as a key participant at the seminar following the Prayer Breakfast, will undoubtedly influence statements made about unique truth of Christianity at the National Prayer Breakfast and associated events.

Action – please pray!

* Please pray against the influence of interfaith activity that is being promoted through ‘The Iman and the Pastor’ tour.
* Pray for Magdi Allam – as an ex-Muslim his message is a total contrast, stating that Islam and Christianity are not compatible.

    Dear Brother

The need is to raise up The Word – the truth in the Bible. We Christians have done much damage by following different denominations. Through visions and dreams the Lord has shown me that religion will soon come to an end because this is not God’s plan but man’s devices.

God is too big to be put in denominations – the truth of the Bible has to be held up for nations to see and follow so man is reconciled to God. That is why God came down to be man and showed suffering and repentence as the way for redemption.

Unless the above sinks into our being and the penny drops so to say no dialogue will help – just wastage of time and money. In the last days the very order that man has made throughout the world at different levels is bound to crash and all that is written in the Bible will be fulfilled.

May God continue to speak to your organisation.

    In Him

    Sis Christine

Keep up the great work guys.

Christians know that the ONLY TRUE GOD IS JESUS CHRIST and he is THE ONLY PATH TO SALVATION.

Satan is trying to unite all religions so they can worship the ANTICHRIST who will soon appear and pretend to be Jesus.

    Christians do not be fooled.

The ANTICHRIST will come first and deceive many thinking it is the second coming.

Jesus will return after the ANTICHRIST is revealed as a fraud.
