Daughter Testifies Of Mothers Healing Of Blocked ArteriesDear Family and Friends in Christ,

Hungry people cry unto God for their nation’s transformation and this definitely took place during Thursday and Friday nights at the revival meetings this week, amongst an atmosphere where the Lord’s presence prevailed, empowering the declarations sung and spoken. Praise and worship which opened the heavens, enthroning our Sovereign God, allowed many at our monthly Rise Up Australia prayer meeting on the Friday night to intercede and carry in prayer our nation’s needs. Both nights heard a continuous stream of testimonies where God’s mighty healing and releasing power was expressed in people’s lives.

Fathers Surrendering to JesusPastor Danny shared with the Body of Christ gathered the important role of the fathers in the home and referred to the book of Malachi 4:5-6 “See, I will send you the prophet Elijah before that great and dreadful day of the LORD comes. He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers; or else I will come and strike the land with a curse.”  God’s truth on restoring the fathers to the children and the children to the fathers is a powerful Word of God. The Holy Spirit ministered to many fathers in the congregation and tears of repentance, reconciliation and healing were witnessed. Sunday following was Father’s Day.

Prayer Aginst Bill To Decriminalise AbortionThe challenge was issued to for all to celebrate the gift of fatherhood in homes, as very large numbers of fathers are being removed from their rightful positions due to various reasons, resulting in increasing numbers of fatherless children. It brought tears to many eyes as the fathers in the meeting responded to the altar call and received ministry by the Lord.

We believe that fathers and mothers are a Divine gift from God in every family, and our gracious Heavenly Father intended every child to have both at home. This is the day and hour to see what has been stolen from families returned in right order in God’s economy.

The Word of God in the book of James says that Elijah prayed for the rain to stop and God heard his prayer, and answered. God heard his voice again as he prayed for rain, hence God allowed the rain. We have prayed, God has answered, and rain has fallen. On Saturday we needed a clear day for the ‘Pro-life March’ in the City of Melbourne, so on Friday we prayed that it will not rain on Saturday. A very clear and sunny day evidenced and the March for LIFE was a great success with thousands coming together to stand in solidarity against this evil bill to legalize abortion. Thank you Lord for answered prayer…

Receiving MinistryDuring Friday night from the Rise Up Australia prayer meeting we linked via mobile phone to a prayer meeting in Sri Lanka where thousands were gathering to “Pray For Peace” in the war-torn country of Sri Lanka.  A spokesman from the meeting in Colombo addressed the gathering in Melbourne via a link and stated, “This is the first time all denominations have united to pray. This is indeed a history making moment for Sri Lanka. There are thousands gathered in the stadium daring the rain and persecution. We have police guarding the gathering. We are so blessed to see Catholic Priest lifting their hands up and praising God. We believe this prayer meeting will bring change to our country. Pastor Colton (Former chairman of AOG and a well known preacher who travels the world), Pastor Lesley Keegle (Leader of Four Square Gospel), Brother Vijay Cooraya (A well known broadcaster who was healed of cancer)is the MC  and many other senior leaders are here. Thank you Australia for standing with us”.

Ministering to The FathersPastor Graham Shand from Casey AOG in Hampton Park, Melbourne Victoria, was personally present at the meeting with his wife in Sri Lanka and wrote the following: “Arise Sri Lanka (Prayer 4 Peace), was a strategic and I believe nation transforming gathering in the life of Sri Lanka.  All the major denominations were represented, including Dr Colton from the AOG, Baptist, Catholic, Anglican and many of the Pentecostal networks.  All of the nine provinces (25 districts) of Sri Lanka were represented by flags in a display of unity and representation before God.  Numbers of symbolic gestures were made – including different ethnic communities such as Tamil and Sinhalese who washed each others feet, in addition to a Burgher and a former Muslim (now a Christian) who lit a candle of unity together, and were prayed over by those present. In my introduction to prayer, I shared with those present that the people of Australia stand together with them in prayer, unity and solidarity, and that there were prayer meetings being held at the same time as theirs.  I read from Ps 133 that where God’s people dwell together in unity, God will command His blessing.  I then followed to make a declaration of God’s blessing as promised in His word.  As Dr. Colton said, ‘the answer for the nation lies with the church.’  It was a privilege to stand with our Christian brothers and sisters in prayer.  I believe that as walls come down amongst the people of God, truly valuing and loving one another in both visible and heartfelt unity and prayer, God will truly heal the land.  May God bless Sri Lanka!”

At The MeetingPastor Danny stated, “We here at Catch The Fire are grateful to the Lord for being able to play a major role in facilitating this prayer gathering, and we wish to thank everyone for praying and supporting the prayer day in Sri Lanka. There will now be monthly combined church (all denomination) prayer gatherings across Sri Lanka”.

The Melbourne Healing Revival meetings are held every Thursday and Friday night at 7.30pm at the Christian Community Church, 30 Star Crescent, in Hallam, Victoria.  Melway Ref: 96 G 3
