Pastor Danny NalliahBrendan Nelson - Leader of the OppositionPrime Minister Kevin RuddChristians Deceived– Rudd / Nelson ???  by Pastor Danny Nalliah

Is Australia on its way down a slippery slope?

This article is written for all those who have the fortitude to face up to what we as Aussie Christians have brought upon ourselves. It is not for those who cry, “Take me off the mailing list” because they cannot see/hear the truth!

It is certainly time for battle in the Spiritual realm as never before!  The fact that some people cannot see what is happening right now makes me ask, “What will it take?”  Are we about to see our Christian heritage dissolve and our children’s future impaired and damaged by a government which has so many anti-Christian stances on the important issues of life? I believe so. This has already begun. How much more ground will slip away under our feet?  “We are all infected and impure with sin. When we display our righteous deeds (good works), they are nothing but filthy rags.” Isaiah 64:6  “Godliness (Righteousness) makes a nation great, but sin is a disgrace to any people.” Proverbs 14:34  New Living Translation

By now you will be aware that I am prepared to stand with the remnant, as I draw my strength from the Lord, not looking for or craving favour from man.  Yes, I am prepared to call far and wide, taking the battle head on.  We must face reality and stop “pussy footing’ around.  When will we, as an effective Body of Christ, begin to unite over God’s Word – instead of saying things which people like to hear – and start challenging these new laws that are placed before us?

I cannot understand how Christians compromise on issues pertaining to, and directly involving, the Word of God.  Sorry, it does not work looking for the lowest possible common denominator to strike a deal by compromising our Judeo-Christian values. The Western world is seeing so many turn to Islam and other such religions which do not compromise.

PM Kevin Rudd (and the Labor party) very cleverly presented to the Christian community that he was a Christian. Unfortunately many, possibly looking for some sort of financial benefit, voted them into power  thinking Mr Rudd was ‘fair-dinkum’ and then received the whole package of a Labor government. Unfortunately, many pastors and leaders believing that Labor would compare equally well on moral issues to the Coalition, influenced their flocks toward what they considered to be ‘a better way.’  So quickly we are beginning to reap what we have sown. Let the fruit from Kevin Rudd’s tree tell the story.

By now you would be aware of the article which appeared in ‘THE AUSTRALIAN’ regarding the findings of John Black. Attached is a part of this article.

Why Labor Won the Federal Election. On a swing and a prayer

Christopher Pearson | March 08, 2008 – The Australian

JOHN Black is a former Labor senator from Queensland. These days he leads a demographic research and marketing group called Australian Development Strategies.

Across the political class he’s regarded as one of the most astute observers of electoral politics and his analyses of federal elections are awaited with keen interest by the secretariats of the main parties.

He’s just produced his profile of the 2007 Australian Election. The most surprising of his findings is that the religious affiliation of swinging voters played a more decisive role in determining the outcome than any other single factor. This cannot conceivably have been true in any other federal election since the Menzies era and the heyday of the Democratic Labor Party in campaigns fought over state aid to church schools and communist infiltration of the trade union movement and the ALP. Plainly commentators who’ve blithely assumed that religion is an increasing irrelevance in Australian politics will have to think again.

Black says: “The strongest correlate of the swing to Kevin Rudd’s new Labor Party was Pentecostal churchgoers, alongside Baptists, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Mormons, Lutherans, Salvos, Seventh-Day Adventists and the Uniting Church.

In the months leading up to election I released many emails and spoke loudly and clearly through the media that a Labor government would erode our Christian heritage, but this only brought rebuke and criticism by many for what they called, a ‘negative report’. It is just over 3 months since Labor was elected as the federal government and already we are beginning to see an entirely different drum beat to the one played before the election. Let’s check whether Mr Rudd and the ALP are truly concerned about our Christian values based on the Bible, the Word of God:

(1)  At the opening of Parliament in February 2008, a majority of Labor MPs offered an ‘affirmation’ rather than taking an oath on the Bible. Only four Members of the Labor frontbench took the oath on the Bible (Kevin Rudd, Peter Garrett, Simon Crean and Martin Ferguson). In contrast, all the members of the Coalition shadow frontbench took an oath on the Bible – with some bringing their own Bibles. At http://www.theaustralian.news.com.au/story/0,25197,23205381-5013871,00.html

(2) Within days of winning the election PM Kevin Rudd was reported as saying he would seek advice from public servants rather than God.  At http://www.news.com.au/dailytelegraph/story/0,22049,22847361-5001028,00.html

(3) Mr Rudd said he would not overrule the ACT Civil Partnerships Bill for homosexual couples. Former PM, John Howard, vetoed this bill (or told the ACT government he would) 3 times during 2006/2007.  Mr Rudd has also said he supports state-based relationship registers. At http://www.theage.com.au/news/national/rudd-gives-states-gay-rights/2007/12/06/1196812922344.html

(4) Deputy Prime Minister Julia Gillard announced during the last month that the faith-based chaplaincy program in schools introduced by former PM John Howard (where some 90% of chaplains were Christians) was not good and that once the current contracts finished she would expand the program to include secular counselors. At http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/story/0,21985,23047448-662,00.html

(5) DPM, Julia Gillard appointed  Professor Barry McGaw as the head of the National Curriculum Board. Last month he stated that Christian schools were causing division in the community as they taught the following:   (1)  Creation rather than Evolution, (2)  Sex education – total abstinence until marriage, he criticised the funding model for promoting the growth of such schools. At http://www.theage.com.au/news/investigations/faith-school-boom-creates-division/2008/02/24/1203788146680.html

(6) Providing support for “sexual and reproductive health” in East, Southeast Asia, and the Pacific, as announced by Federal MP Bob McMullan. This might sound good, but the funding is for ‘crisis situations’ and ‘reproductive health’, which can sometimes mean ‘abortion’. The Rudd government is ‘partnering’ with Planned Parenthood and the Australian Reproductive Health Alliance in Page 2. this project – these organisations openly promote abortion and some of them perform abortions around the world. At http://www.ausaid.gov.au/media/release.cfm?BC=Latest&ID=1711_6538_8819_8412_904

(7) Rudd officially sent a letter of support to the Melbourne midsummer (homosexual) pride march in February 2008 saying his government would “continue to march towards tolerance, respect and diversity.” A spokesman for the homosexuals stated -   that it was the first time they had received such an endorsement by a Prime Minister of Australia.  At http://mcv.e-p.net.au/featured-stories/pride-attracts-50-000.html and Herald Sun: http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/story/0,21985,23154334-2862,00.html

Mr Rudd also sent a letter of support to the ‘2008 Sydney gay and lesbian mardi gras’. In contrast, Mr Howard had steadfastly refused to send such messages. Message of support at http://e-p.net.au/publications/displayimage.php?album=286&pos=8

(8) The apology to the Aboriginal people was perhaps a good move, but with it came the pagan rituals in Parliament possible for the very first time. I am sure you saw on TV the Indigenous people inviting Ancestral spirits in to parliament and blessing Kevin Rudd with the message stick. If you are not a praying person, possibly this will mean nothing to you. But for us this is a big mistake.

Also correct me if I am wrong, I did not see the Indigenous community reciprocate with forgiveness. I thought it was a 2 way street?? In order for an apology to be effective, the recipients need to forgive – without that, the situation is even worse if they use the apology to claim compensation.

(9) Mr Rudd was asked at the footy finals by a spectator, ‘is Jesus the Son of God?’ After trying to avoid the question, Mr Rudd responded, ‘I go to church regularly.’

Well unfortunately, many Christians who voted Labor will still possibly try to defend the Labor party. It’s not about a party it is about the future of our nation and God’s Word. Why not repent for what we have allowed…? Read Jeremiah Chapters 36, 37 & 38.

Can anyone tell me of one positive thing or speech Labor has given to promote Christian values since coming into power???? Recently someone asked me, “What do you think about Brendon Nelson?”  “Very frankly,” I responded, “I fear he has lost the plot.”   At this point of time the Coalition seems no better than Labor.  However there are many in the Coalition who have very good Christian moral values.

Like it or not, we have the current government for at least the next 3 years or maybe even 6 years. This is reality. It is likely a lot of ground will be lost, but will we learn from this very difficult lesson?

Many Christians have told me, “Do not worry Danny, God will do what He has to do any way.” I would like to encourage you to read Jeremiah 18:7-10 New Living Translation

7 “If I announce that a certain nation or kingdom is to be uprooted, torn down, and destroyed, 8 but then that nation renounces its evil ways, I will not destroy it as I had planned. 9 And if I announce that I will build up and plant a certain nation or kingdom, making it strong and great, 10 but then that nation turns to evil and refuses to obey Me, I will not bless that nation as I said I would.”

The foot note in my Bible clearly states, “God’s sovereign power is limited to man’s action in response to what He promises to do.” There is always a part that man has to play for God to fulfill His purposes on earth.

So, are we backing off?? NO WAY!!  If we, as Bible-believing God-fearing Christians, really love our nation, we must be ready for a long and hard fight to take back what the devil has stolen from us corporately and generationally! We are counting on you true soldiers of the Cross of Christ to stand firm and not lose heart as Australia belongs to Jesus!  Let us rise up together in the supreme authority of His Word and the supernatural power of His Resurrection to possess our rightful inheritance, this Great South Land of the Holy Spirit!

    Praise the Lord Pastor Danny

The Lord is now leading me to pray for the World Religious Conference in Melbourne. I continue to pray for you and your ministry as I serve the Lord in India. I have claimed the following from your writing as my prayer point :

“God’s sovereign power is limited to man’s action in response to what He promises to do.” There is always a part that man has to play for God to fulfill His purposes on earth.

I pray this would sink in more and more to a generation filled with apathy in God’s house.

May God continue to bless you and your ministry

    In HIM Christine

My heart grieves when you put into print that which should have been obvious to us ALL.
I was once told by a Pastor that “one should never vote for a party which hold a party line and doesnt allow a conscience vote….” That is so true….

Ungodliness is exalted when…. Good men stand by and so nothing…!!!!! ( How true)

THANK YOU FOR YOUR STAND FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS … may God bless you and give you the strength you need for His call and may the rest of us WAKE UP and STAND UP and be COUNTED for the sake OF RIGHTEOUSNES and our BEAUTIFUL country…. Marg

    Hello Danny,

Keep sounding the trumpet a remnant can hear you. This nation is in deep trouble and I felt to encourage you in this battle.

I have attached two prophetic words that the Lord gave me in 2004 and 2006.

Also, if you know of anyone who has a heart for Israel I would love to connect with them.

blessings and do not lose the FIRE,

    Lance

Dear Ps Danny, I have never voted Labor in my life and never will. Neither did my wife. I believe he got in because of the media pressure and the young vote and the dear John Howard and his part failing to reinvent themselves. Of course the union movement and the big money they poured into the election and the smooth talking by Rudd won the day, in voters minds it was time for a change unfortunately, We get the Government we deserve, however I will pray for Rudd as I did for Howard and that t he Lord will use whatever to send us a revival, Keep up the good work Danny, We have started a number of Christian Schools and know the coalition supported them. May God have mercy upon us all. Norm & Kendrie

Thank you so much Pastor Danny – it was a privelege to meet such a straight Christian at Plumpton AOG. Mum who prays strongly for Noble also asked if I told you the praying lady was my Mum. My family will always be praying, Rose

Thank you for your email and your stance in this matter. I am in total in agreement with you, and I am wanting permission from you, for us to place this in our Church bulletin, as our people who are Bible believing, Spirit filled Christians need to hear the truth and start taking a stand. While I do not believe in promoting politics from the pulpit (and did not during elections) but this is not just about politics, it’s about our destiny and our Biblical stance on values.

Please get back to me ASAP so that I can get it in this Sunday.

Yours in our Saviour Jesus’ name, Paul

    Dear Danny
Thank you for your firm belief in God’s Holy Word!!

My husband who has been an Evangelist since the age of 19yrs and an Open Air Campaigner – in US, Canada and Australia over 50 yrs but unfortunately does have Alzheimers but how wonderful to know, he still loves to worship our Lord Jesus Christ and I know how the Holy Spirit lives within him and how thankful I am. WE both belong to ACC which is a group of Uniting Church people who stand up for God’s Holy Word and have been influencing the Uniting Church with our daily prayers which are on the Internet and we have a wonderful group of ministers and lay people all striving to keep the UC on the Way, the Truth and the Life!!

Blessings in His name glorious and wonderful Name, Kay

  9. 9 Yvonne

    Thank you Pastor Danny,

I agree with you all the way but I also see there are many non-Christian Australians who take everything here for granted thinking we can do what we like because nothing can touch us here. Please forgive them and our slack Christian brothers/sisters for their foolishness. Some of us will continue to stand with you and God’s ways. I did not see the rituals but feared that would come.

Our Government did need to apologise for the arrogant way they had in dealing with natives of any land but I did want to know what the Aboriginal Community would do to accept the apology. For the individual who suffered badly they should be able to receive compensation as any other child, now grown, can apply for. Not many will accept these people practise witchcraft and have a tradition of doing so. I am praying for the Aboriginal Christians because these people can be used by God to reach their own. I think the Aboriginal people distrust the whites with some good cause. I know God will achieve his own results but what is our cost.

    Many thanks, Yvonne

Dear Danny, preach the Gospel, WE Have the governemnt we deserve. Rudd is a religious person not a believer I suspect. At this season the Lord is sorting the religious from the real in the body. As we allow the preparation of the Lord in our lives He will then show us how to react. I’m not so sure your reactions are Godly though I do agree with your facts. So Listen to the Lord and do as he says for your situation. He will have His way. Bro Robt.

God bless you Danny and all at CTFM. Standing with you in prayer. Adelaide. Bev

    Hi Danny,

Doesn’t it make you angry. It makes me angry. I am supporting you in prayer and keep up the good work.

  13. 13 Helen

Thank you Danny for your stand, was very concerned when I saw the opening ceremony at Parliament and sadly many christains do not understand about spiritual warfare, am praying for you and your household as you bodly make a stand for Him, our Lord Jesus Christ, Helen

  14. 14 Laurel

Dear Pastor Danny I would appreciate any information through my email address thank you.
In your recent letter, Rudd/Nelson Australia needs to repent. How could the churches have got it so wrong that the swinging voters were largely made up with the churches you mentioned. How deceived are we.

I wrote to Rudd just after he was elected in challenging him as to how was he going to govern the country? By his position of power or his beliefs in Christ. Surprise, surprise I never received an answer.

Over the years I have written to past Prime MInister Hawk, Keating & Howard & many political members over immoral issues & am not afraid to continue.

Brendon Nelson was on tv last week & asked anyone to write, fax or email him on whatever issues we want changed.

I shall certainly be emailing him. I can only pray as God did to Joseph & put iron in his soul he will do it to Brendan Nelson. I encourage you & was grieved to read some people wanted to be taken off the mailing list.I stand with you & the remnant to take on the battle head on. Yours in Jesus Christ

    Laurel

  15. 15 Andrew

    Dear Pastor Danny

I totally agree with you. Thank you so much for the solid stand you take. So many christians hope everything will be “allright”, but it will be very hard, now that the door has been thrown open to the evil that abounds. May Christians at least now get on their knees and repent and pray for our lost nation. May the Lord have mercy on Australia and on us as Christians who have decided to keep quiet and not speak up. Keep up the good work Pastor Danny. the Lord is with you.

    Your brother in Christ.
    Andrew Samuel.

    The Coming KING

Sadly, the apostasy of the Church has been prophesied throughout the whole bible but the GREATEST ERA in history is about to take place. The remnant knows…Israel is about to see the Messiah who will lead ALL His people, because the “Church” has followed the same way as Israel did. Adopting Pagan rituals, sitting at ease, drunk with the wine (grace) covenant. The Church has built on the sand (which is NOT DOING His commandments- Matthew 7:26).

7Therefore, ye shepherds, hear the word of the LORD; 8As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely because my flock became a prey, and my flock became meat to every beast of the field, because there was no shepherd, neither did my shepherds search for my flock, but the shepherds fed themselves, and fed not my flock; 9Therefore, O ye shepherds, hear the word of the LORD; 10Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require my flock at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the flock; neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more; for I will deliver my flock from their mouth, that they may not be meat for them. 11For thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I, will both search my sheep, and seek them out. 12As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the CLOUDY AND DARK DAY. 16I will seek that which was lost, and bring again that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but I will destroy the fat and the strong; I will feed them with JUDGMENT.23And I will set up ONE SHEPHERD over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd. Ezekiel 34.

It will take JUDGEMENT to change the world and AT THE SAME TIME, His RIGHTEOUSNESS will shine forth:
1 ARISE, SHINE; FOR THY LIGHT IS COME, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. 2For, behold, the DARKNESS SHALL COVER THE EARTH, AND GROSS DARKNESS the people: but the LORD SHALL ARISE UPON THEE, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. Isaiah 60.

  17. 17 Barb

    Dear Pastor Danny,

I sent letters to local Victorian MPs in early March, regarding the recent Relationships bill. I too quoted the same proverb as you have iin the above article. I was shocked to recently see a story of a man and woman – Father and daughter – in an incestuous relationship
that fits exactly the “far out” suggestion I made in my appeal to these politicians. The slope is indeed getting slippery!
    Excerpt from my letter:

And don’t forget this word from the Bible-
Proverbs 15:3 “Godliness makes a nation great, but sin is a disgrace to any people.

This nation can’t prevent sinful (in God’s eyes) relationships, but the government shouldn’t
accommodate them either by passing new leglislation on whim to answer their demands.
Isaiah 55: 8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,”
    declares the LORD.
We can simply love them and let them live as they choose, without special treatment.
If we begin to accommodate and change laws for every lifestyle that crops up, where does
it end? Can children have sexual relations with their parents? Why not? Whose moral code
is that objection based on? What if some people began to think it is ok and needs a law
passed to say so? And the government begins to “bend” in their thinking on this.
I know it seems ridiculous and outrageous, but so would this new bill being presented, have
seemed shocking and wrong to the founders of this country!

Regardless of your own personal religious beliefs, we hope you see that the deteriation
of family in today’s society is causing the avalanche of social
    problems facing Australia’s government.

  18. 18 Daniel

    Shalom
    Dear Jason, Pastor Danny,

I have been planning to write a book for some time so all Christians will have an idea about Politics in Australia.
    Let me explain.
I grew up in a Labor household. So I was a full on Labor supporter and didn’t really know anything about ‘life’. (I blindly supported Labor)
When Pauline Hanson came on the scene I put her 1st since I was so clearly attracted to her low tax and anti-socialism policies. This is the start of my full transformation into voting for the person (or standing if I must!) who will do the most right (the most right is that which God has set out in His Word, if Christians bothered to read it-especially Proverbs!). This is something Australians don’t understand much, especially some touchy Christians who feel we must ‘look after’ the Aboriginals as if a 40 year old capable man is a 4 year old kid not being tended by his parents. These people, as Noel Pearson and Warren Mundine fully agree with, can work. As someone said recently, the best welfare is work! So clearly by allowing Government to become a ‘nanny state’ we have allowed crime to fester in our society to unbelievable levels. How? Well the simple logic underwriting this, is the same as Jesus’. It is responsibility, personal responsibility. Jesus never said to look to the Government of the land to take care of you. He said ‘Do not worry’ in Matthew chapter 6. We must seek the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness!!! Saying this I will sum up my entire point. We must allow ourselves to be secure in the Lord. Real Christians will put their faith in God for everything, which is what is required of us. Jesus said ‘Have Faith in God”!!! So why are many placing their faith in Government? Simply put they do not trust God and feel it is better to have socialism, unions and other such human made systems which are proven failures. As far as I am concerned (the simple man that I am!), capitalism is God’s system and I feel very strongly linked to the USA for this, as it was founded on this principle including the principle of small Government. Today we have allowed Government to overstep the mark (way beyond it in fact-education was all Christian in the early days!) and enter our homes and almost every aspect of our lives. We have rights without unions and without Government laws such as work choices or industrial protection systems in Government, such as the minimum wage (Minimum wage is NOT a right-it is a socialistic setting-until we understand the market -read Thomas Sowell’s Applied Economics. An example of a right is you can own property. Socialism devastatingly as we are finding out erodes this right, and Communism totally displaces it. People in Communist countries have no rights. In fact the country with the most ‘rights’ is in the USA). Workers rights is just a way to make us vote, which is Labor. John Howard did a Majestic job at staring the criminal unions down and ensuring we have the right to choose whether we want to belong to a union or not. This is a great thing (many people can not understand how great it is, but it builds on this great nation’s prosperity and its ability to function without being bashed by unions). Under John Howard, we were given more rights. Under Mr Rudd, our rights are going to be taken away, and already have.
If you post this, I urge every Christian who doesn’t follow me on this to get out their Bibles and ask God, in faith, to show them (in John Jesus said He would send the Teacher) what I am talking about. If they allow God to shed light (and the Word of God) on this absolutely major issue in our community, we may go a great distance in having more understanding by Christians in this country in what God says about Government.
The book Londonistan also describes how socialism has dumbed down a nation so much that they continue to allow their destruction. Socialism is like a drug that once injected, turns the patient into a permanent zombie that does not have the capacity to respond to warnings.
The book is by Melanie Phillips. I am buying a hundred copies of this book. Every Australian should read it.

In my book I will include such facts as:
The floods in Queensland this year and last year in Kevin Rudd’s seat were a sign from God.
Gough Whitlam, one of Kevin07’s heros, was Australia’s most disasterous Prime Minister ever. Cyclone Tracey in 1974, the only time an Australian city has been wiped out, was practically in the middle of Whitlam’s term. In 1975 he had to go, and no one wanted him. I wonder why?
He birthed socialism in Australia as we see its devastating effects today. Kevin Rudd, as Andrew Bolt says, is doing a lot of talking, and really is doing little action in regard to his ‘talking’. He wants to be a ‘Jimmy Carter’ who has shockingly appeared before Christians in Australia on a Christian conference tour. Carter is negotiating with a terrorist state-Hamas, and he has no given authority to do so. Christians in Australia need to learn history, current events and the issues which confront us. Going into these conferences not knowing these things only makes our problems worse, where we suffer from ’emotion dillemma’, instead of benefitting from ‘knowledge’ which will protect us.
Don’t let the state dumb you down, or your kids.

    Daniel McAloon

    http://f111raaf.blogspot.com/

  19. 19 roger

    Hi Daniel McAloon,
I think it’s a bit over the top to describe Gough Whitlam as Australia’s most disastrous PM.
What about the Christian things he did?
Like free medical and hospital care for all Australians?
Like bringing the troops home from Vietnam?
I think we need to be balanced in what we say.
